My tree

Monday, December 21, 2009

I got the tree out today, there is really no good side to it anymore. The thing is only 3 feet tall, can't really get a good picture of it. The cats could care less.

I got project done today that I have been working on for a couple days, can't wait for Christmas now.

The exercise has been great this week.

    Your tree is great, Robin!

And, besides, its the meaining that counts for so much more. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!

I also think your tree looks fine. Lucky that the cats could care less. I only put mine up last night and I've already had to rehang quite a few ornaments...and found Aspen curled up in the middle of it sleeping this morning.

I think your tree looks fine. I bought a 3.5 foot pink tree for my daughter's room this year and she decorated it herself. You know, all the decorations are close together and near the bottome. :0)

I did get in touch with my son. He was working on Saturday. He is a carpet installer for a family run company so he is out on the road. He's not doing so well but he's coping as best he can.

I did get in 70 minutes of exercise today and I added in my food for Friday since I know what I will be eating that day.

So now on to another HUGE problem here on Spark.

At a loss

Saturday, December 19, 2009

My son still doesn't answer his phone when I call. Today I called 3 times, 30 minutes apart, left messages saying I would call back and nothing. I dont know any of his neighbors, he does not have a wife that I know of, if I call the place he works he will get pissed at me. So I guess I just wait until he will answer. I just hope he is ok.

I didn't go for an outside walk this morning, I got up too late. I took an excedrine migraine at 3AM to stop the pinched nerve pain so I could get some sleep. I did get in 30 minutes of Walk Away The Pounds and 30 minutes of exercises. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

This is the Christmas season, I am sure he is ok. He is just probably busy, I am not saying that is an excuse! My son is the same way, sometimes he goes weeks without calling. He knows how much I love him so he makes sure everyone else is there that he is not so sure of and I am always the last call. Hang in there, they hurt the ones they love the most!!

I second Sianana74's comment. If he doesn't want you to call him at work then he should return your calls. I hope that everything is okay with him and that you get to talk to him soon.

When was the last time you got in contact with him? I would call him at work just to make sure he is alive if it has been more than a week without a return call. That way you can just say "Hi, just want to make sure you are alive. Call me back when you have time after work." That way you aren't taking up more time than needed and you can hear he is still breathing.

Good luck!

A good shopping day

Thursday, December 17, 2009

Wow, for a change I found what I needed for a project I want to start! I can't say much about it yet since I am not sure how I want to go about it but I will definately post at a later date.

Today is my day off from exercise but I did do some brisk walking in the mall and the grocery store today and we took the stairs instead of the esclator.

Tried to call my son again today and he didn't answer his phone again, I'm starting to get very concerned now. I have no other way to get in touch with him.

I'm sure everything is OK with your son. He probably has a good excuse. Perhaps you could call his wife if he has one or a neighbor or his job to see if he's been in. Perhaps tomorrow after church. Good Luck with getting in touch with him.

End of the week burnout update

Wednesday, December 16, 2009

I did finally make it upstairs for a short workout, 30 minutes of Walk Away The Pounds Fat burning walk, a 20 minute resistance band workout and 10 minutes more of crunches and bridges on the stability ball. I had to finish in time to watch House on tv, LOL.

On to the weekend now.
