Day 6 & Go Yankees!!

They are 1 win away from a World Series win!! WOO HOO! I don't know if I want them to win it all tonight in Philadelphia or wait and win it at home in their new stadium. I was up at 5:30 this morning and watched the game from the 2nd inning on but fell asleep for an hour or so.

This is day 6 of the 8 cups of water every day and I still get up every hour on the hour during the night to go to the bathroom. So much for getting 8 hours of sleep every night.

I have been doing my Leslie Sansone Walk Away The Pounds videos every day for a week now. Still only at 2- 2 1/2 miles at a time but I'm getting there.

A new month

I typed this up once and it didn't post
A new month for new goals:
Increase my exercise to 90 minutes a day
Hope to get up early enough to go outside and walk. If I don't get up by 8:15AM it's too hot to walk.
Lose at least 2 lbs a month. 3 would be GREAT but I'm trying to be realistic.

I just saw a blog post from my friend with cancer. She has lost all her hair :( She is such a strong person and is enduring all this with dignity. I am still sad for her.

It's not celebrated and it's forbidden here but I guess since it's a big thing in America, then it SHOULD be celebrated EVERYWHERE in the world, right? America rules the world!

I got down another 8 cups of water today, did 70 minutes of exercise. It was a good day!

October 31 reminder

I really wish people would realize that day is NOT CELEBRATED in EVERY country in the world. I realize SparkPeople is a US based web site, but Americans are under the impression that just because something is celebrated/observed OR recogonized in the US that is SHOULD be in EVERY country in the world. That is so not true but people don't want to listen to that. It is NOT celebrated or observed here and it's forbidden! I chose not to celebrate it because I have no one to celebrate it with, no kids here anymore and no American or Western kids on the compound.

YANKEES WON LAST NIGHT! Woo Hoo! I got up somewhere around the 7th inning and the score was 2-1 so I went back to bed.

Today is laundry, cleaning day. 3 loads of laundry, tried to vacuum but the vacuum cleaner just doesn't work, cleaned up the kitchen, straightened up the bedroom. I also need to get up stairs and do my exercise.

I don't celebrate halloween except for a party at the friendship club and its not really a halloween party. We have no trick or treaters because its a home where old people live and we lock the doors at 8:00 pm. They would have to come in early to get in. I haven't seen a trick or treater in 3 years. My daughter brings my grandson by to get his candy and to show me his costume. Sorry about your vacuum and don't forget housework is considered exercise too so count that too. It will add up. I don't know if it is the US who wants everyone to celebrate it or the various companies, but I agree with you. In school we do not talk about it because there are some children who do not celebrate it so it cannot be talked about. Game three Saturday night. Yuck, 106, that is why I left Arizona and moved back east...too hot. I know you do not have a choice and are making the most of it. Keep drinking the water. Sorry about the vacuum. After 7 years my DS and his girlfriend broke up. I don't know the whole story but she said he kept accusing her of cheating on him which I know she wasn't. She just couldn't live with the constant nagging and I guess he wasn't very nice to her lately either. Sadly she took their son with her which is only natural but I am just so broken hearted over it. I did talk to her yesterday and she said I am more than welcome to see my 3 year old grandson any time I want to, she will never deny that to me. We have done a lot for her and them and she is so grateful. She said she was sorry but she just can't live with him anymore. She does love him. She did a lot to help me too

Anyhow, I'm working on my 2nd litre of water today, I did get up about 4 times during the night to pee.

I hope the Yankees get their bats working and WIN TONIGHT!!

Maybe your son will realize one day that he was wrong and do what he can to patch the bridge between them. It is extremely rough when there is a child involved.
