Did my exercise

I didn't get to walk outside ttoday, it was way too hot when I got up.
I did get through the 3 mile Walk Away The Pounds for ABS YAY YAY YAY! It is a great workout.

I did a lower body work out this evening, can't wait until the Boot Camp starts next week.

Think I am going to check out a fitness place when I get home just on a trial basis and see if they have a trainer that can help. Gotta lose these last 15-20 pounds.

30 days, happy dance, 30 days! 30 days from today I will be HOME! WOO HOO!

Spark People Day at a Glance Calendar note for TODAY:
These are the last two days of TV turnoff week. Here's one more reason to keep the tube off: 90%of food commercials aired during Saturday morning shows for kids advertise junk food, according to the American Diabetic Association. Wellll, I didn't even know it was TV turnoff week and I highly doubt my DH would EVER go for such a thing.

I took a profile picture today and I don't notice any difference in the profile picture I took January except for my chin. I have done a Walk Away The Pounds video every day this past week, even got up to the 3 mile fat burning walk for Abs which is quite a work out and felt good! I did that one twice.

I got out and walked this morning. One of our outside cats was inside this morning and he let me know he was ready to go back outside after breakfast at 6:30AM so I got up. It was already 83F at 6:30AM!!! But I decided I'm walking. So I did a 2 mile 40 minute walk in the humidity. I NEED to do it, I have 15 more pounds to loose!

    I know when my nephew came back from Iraq he had a long trip. It was probably 20 hrs or longer. Is that how long your trip will be? WooHoo on only having 15 lbs. left to go. On the Doctors TV here they said a 16 or less neck size is good for cardiovascular. I've heard of no TV last year. Oprah advertised it but she still put on new shows not asking for anyone to quit seeing her. What a farce. I did it though. I wish they had it this week because I didn't watch much tv with mom in the hospital

GO YANKEES! Let's have a GOOD weekend series with Boston!

Today's Sparkpeople Day at a Glance calendar note is:
Move and shake! Be as active as you can each day. Dance to the car radio, fidget at your desk, and get up as often as you can. You'll become fitter, healthier and slimmer! I do this! I jump up from my chair, I bounce my feet under my computer desk, I go up and down stairs at least 4 times a day (I know that isn't much) and I try to get at least 15 minutes of some sort of exercise every day.

So after moving my weight ticker yesterday I stepped on the scale this morning and it didn't go as far as it did last week by another pound! So I am going to wait another week to see if it stays at that new number and I will change it again! WOO HOO!

Well I had this all typed up, clicked on log into Facebood and it deleted everything.
Today's Spark People DAily Calendar note is:
"Don't expect perfection. You will mess up, make mistakes, and forget along the way. The key is persistence and a willingness to learn from your mistakes. Focus on what you have done right instead of what's gone wrong.
I have do a lot right since joining SparkPeople. I have lost 21 pounds by eathing healthy and exercising with SparkPeople and with motivation from my friends here. Even though I have met my original goal of being at 140, I am moving my goal to 135 and I will continue to move that goal weight by 5 pounds until I get down to where I want to be. I CAN DO IT!

I joined the new bootcamp!

The new boot camp is just what I need to rev up my time remaining here before my vacation and I can't wait to get started. I am going to wait to move my ticker, but I have dropped another pound this week, WOO HOO!
My mouth does feel better today too.

Today's SparkPeople Day at a Glance CAlendar page says:
"Celebrate EArth Day! Getting closer to nature can help you feel more connected to the world at large. Spend time outside today walking, biking, picnicking, sightseeing, or planting a tree." Sadly about all I can do here is go outside. It is very hot here already, I don't have a bike, there is nothing to sightsee, there is no place safe to picnic and no trees to plant.

    Thank God your mouth feels better. Congratulations on the weight loss. Don't forget even with Earth Day to recycle. sometimes you can make money but most times you just help others make money but at least you keep it out of the landfill. Try to use cloth bags instead of paper or plastic. They also don't break if they get too heavy.

    I am signed up for the bootcamp too and can't wait!! Sounds like you are looking forward to a fun trip soon! Just a thought about Earth Day, buy some flower seeds at your local grocery store or Home Depot and plant them inside in pots. Pansies near a morning sunny window work really good! I always plant seeds inside in the spring because I usually have snow until May!
