I walked 2.6 miles in 53 minutes this morning. It was warm but I kept on walking.
I did boot camp day 3 video dumb bell workout, a lower body workout, extra dumb bell workout, crunches, a couple minutes of jumprope, 10 minutes of a challenge exercise and 5 minutes on the treadmill. PHEW, that felt good!
The Yankees won again yesterday! 4 home runs in the game! Woo Hoo! The regular season starts on Monday! YAY YAY YAY, it's been a looooooong winter.
Tomorrow is another round at the dentist of the deep gum cleaning so it will be broth again for supper.
Woo Hoo! The Yankees won the first game in the new Stadium! They beat the Cubs in an exhibition game! Hopefully I'll be able to watch the game on the MLB video tonight.
Gotta go back to the dentist today so he can either pull my teeth or do a root canal. I hope the infection is gone anyway so he can do something.
Today's SparkPeople Daily Desk note is:
Spread the Spark to others by living as an example. Use positive peer pressure by practicing healthy habits in front of others, and they'll be more likely to do the same!
I did a 64 minute 3.3 mile walk this morning! Woo Hoo! It was warm but I kept on walking.
TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT! The Yankees play their first game in the NEW YANKEE STADIUM! It's only an exhibition game but it's the first one! Too bad it's not on till 2AM MY time otherwise I would watch it on my MLB TV.
From the 2009 SparkPeople Day At A Glance desk calendar:
Pump Iron. Strength training 3 timer per week can build lean muscle, cut your diabetes risk, prevent depression, reduce your risk of stroke by 40%, and strengthen your bones. Try bands, dumbbells, boyd weight or machines.
Today is our weekend, like Sunday in the real world. I'm doing laundry and will get upstairs to do my Strength training and walking video in a few minutes.
Hope, please don't be embarassed, I have to tell people what a great friend you are!
Hope is one of my first Spark friends and my greatest motivator and supporter. She posts to almost every blog post I make no matter if I've had a down day and post about it, she always finds something positive to say. She makes me smile with her comments to my blog and to my Spark page and with the goodies she shares. She offers great advice on the teams I belong to with her and great moral support!
Share your knowledge. Who might benefit from what you've learned so far? Acting as a mentor can strengthen your commitment to your own goals and inspire others to create positive change in their lives, too.
I had blood work this morning but won't know the results until the 11th when I see the endocrinogolist. I did see the diabetic nutritionist today and she said things were ok, but they need to find out why my BCG numbers are so high in the mornings. So I have to have milk or yogurt right before bed and do a blood count thing before bed.
