Guess I was wrong again

Since seeing the scale at 140 in Saturday, I am now obsessed with weighing in. This morning it was 141!
I didn't walk this morning, woke up too late again after taking regular Tylenol last night but I feel better.
I did an ab Spark video and a core video plus went back to the 2 mike walk video.

It's the start of my weekend here too.

Just in case you saw any news programs or read in the paper about that horrible sandstorm in Saudi Arabia, that wasn't where I live, that was a ways away but we did have "dust storm" (as my DH put it) this week.

I clicked on one of the SparkPeople ads on the pages here, the one for Crestor since I do take it now. It has menu plans and lots of good sounding recipes so I'll give that a go and see what all they have.

They found me again

Those 2-3 pounds I lost last week found me again, I was so excited to see the scale read 140 but the numbers are back up and I've been looking at the numbers wrong. I don't know why I would think the incriments are 1-3-5 and not 2-4-6, all along I was thinking 141-143 but instead I've been 142-144 which is more depressing. I'll just have to try harder. I'm back up again.

I've been doing the Leslie Sansone walking videos for 3 days now. Today I tried the 3 mile walk that they use some sort of ab belt and a resistance band. I don't have the ab band so I used my resistance band and wound it around my waist. I also did a 54 minute, 3 mile walk this morning and Days 3 & 6 of the boot camp videos. I am beat and I ache. That walking video did me in so if I ache, I must be doing something right.

That thorn is out of my foot too so I feel a lot better now and can walk better.

I think I will take some tylenol before bed so I can get up in the morning.

    Yup, leslies workouts "look" easy...but if you really work them, you definitely feel them work, lol.

    Are you checking your measurements? I tried on some capris that I hadn't worn all winter and even though my weight is up my pants were falling down. They fit all right last year but since I started exercising again my inches have come off even though my weight went up. Muscle weights more than fat.

I did get up and walk this morning at 8:30AM when it was ONLY 82F, right now at noon, it's 98.4 and it's only March. I walked my 48 minutes, about 2.6 miles. It was warm.

DH found some Leslie Sansone videos last night so I tried one. IT was fairly easy and I did work up a sweat. I didn't do the whole thing since I should have been fixing supper at the time.
I will try them this afternoon.

OK!! I had to do a double take this morning, I've lost another pound, so now it's 140! I'm happy! I Haven't done the boot camp videos in a week and didn't really get in a good walk on Wednesday but did do extra exercises, I didn't walk on Thursday or Friday because it's the weekend and there are other things to do and I didn't get in my 8 cups of water in a couple days either. This REALLY REALLY makes me want to exercise all day now, LOL.
Unfortunately I overslept this morning and didn't get up until 9AM and at 10:15AM it is 86F. SOOOOOOOO, I am going to do a couple of cardio workouts and get on the treadmill.

I will never fix that nasty, gaggy red rice again! It will make a great filler for soups though.

    emoticonon losing another pound. If you don't like that rice I'd say don't even use it for a filler. I'd just trash it. LOL See you may be off your groove but you're making progress. Every bit helps

NASTY! I bought a bag of "Organic Red Rice" a couple weeks ago and fixed some for dinner. EWWW, there is no taste what so ever and it is soupy after 1 1/2 hours of cooking. Even adding home made vegetable broth and garlic didn't help. So I'll just add this to soups or whatever.

I didn't get to exercise again today, I did the dreaded grocery shopping, laundry and general up and down all day.

    Are you not exercising because of your foot with the thorn still in it? Is it too sore to exercise? Would you fix the rice again? Not sure if you liked it.
