American Diabetes Association Alert Day® is a one-day "wake-up call” asking the American public to take the Diabetes Risk Test to find out if they are at risk for developing type 2 diabetes. Held on the fourth Tuesday of every March, the next Alert Day will be held on March 27, 2012.

NEW Limited Mobility Lifestyle Center

Spark Coach Jen announced a new Limited Mobility Lifestyle Center here at Spark People. Here is what she says:
"Our staff has collected all of our limited mobility and seated exercise workouts into one comprehensive lifestyle center that is now live on the site. Mysterious treadmill incidents?

I am loving my treadmill and I have worked myself up to being able to walk faster to a mild jog almost and for longer periods of time. I still do 1 lap or .25 miles at a time BUT when I get on the treadmill, the internet router goes offline shutting my internet off. I do not understand why or how since the treadmill has no internet capabilities, it has a digital display and I can check my pulse and heart rate but that is all. So every time I get off the treadmill, I have to re-set the router box. Pretty annoying. I'll have to wait until my husband comes back from his business trip to find out what is happening.

that is a strange one - perhaps the treadmill is pulling too much power away from the router causing it to need to be reset? otherwise you've got me too - that is just crazy! you've had your new mill for a while now and it didn't do it before - what changed? very weird! hope the dh is home soon. but otherwise way to go with your workouts - you will be speedy this summer!
