My new toy

My DH bought me a new toy today, at least we "ordered" it. He bought me a new electric treadmill. A couple years ago, he bought me a manual treadmill which was fine but when I stopped exercising as much, it got hard to use it. We went to the store to buy it today but they were "out of stock" so I will get it in 10 days "maybe"


It's not the top of the line but I will make it work!

It's always fun to get a new toy. I bought myself a Kindle Fire and it is amazing. I am still getting to know what it does. Several residents here have one. Happy 93rd Birthday to my Dad!

Today is my dad's 93rd birthday and I am glad he is still around! He may not be in that great of health and can't get around as good as he used to but he is still here!

My Dad turned 91 on Sunday. On Monday he along with my mom and little sister flew to Florida for 10 days with another sister. He uses a walker and has hearing aids. I am so blessed to have him still around. He is the last of his family. Happy 93rd Birthday to your dad! Report Inappropriate Comment

Sandstorm today

Went outside for my morning walk this morning but didn't get far. It was so very humid and 10 degrees hotter than yesterday. Then the sandstorm rolled in. Blowing winds and sand all day and looks like tomorrow too. YUCK!

On the bright side, I got my vacation plane ticket HOME to the USA today! Woo Hoo, I get home the 24th of May until the end of SEpt. Can't wait to drive, eat pig meat, drink a beer or two, some wine, shop in shorts all day and all the stuff I can't do here!

My daughter turns 34 today, I can't believe time has gone that fast. I sent her a birthday cookie cake and a subscription to a cross stitch magazine. I called her too but she was already at work.
