Another blog for my Spring Challenge

I know - daily blogs - I really do prefer to blog on a weekly basis, but I gotta help my team and daily blogging is this week's challenge. I'm a stay-at-home-wife so I can't say no time to blog.

So - my first weekend was a bit rough - I was over on my range both Saturday and Sunday but the weekend is over and I am "good to go" for it! Praise the Lord, I barely stayed with range of calories burned according to the SP Reports.

The good news is I managed to get full exercise and blogging points for my team!

    Although I know every morsel we put in our mouths counts, it was a rough weekend for many of us. Too much family eating because of Mother's Day. Back on track today!

Getting in your exercise should offset that overeating.

    Something must be in the air. I had a craving for an Angus burger yesterday and even without any mayo, it was over 400 cal. Hate to say it, but it was good so I must have need the protein and iron. I'm always low on my protein at the end of the day and as a hypoglycemic, that's bad.

You WILL get back on track as will I. This is a new week and we're determined!!

I received this email yesterday and it made me LOL - almost spit my coffee out!!
It's supposed to be Osama Bin Laden in a chat room, leaving a message, BRB (be right back) Someone's at the door

However, I must confess that I celebrate no deaths.

I was appalled when the senseless deaths of the victims from 9/11 were celebrated by terrorists and I cannot celebrate the death of this terrorist now either.

It's just a cartoon folks and I share it for the momentary humor.

Plus I get a sparkpoint for posting a blog and earn my challenge team 5 points!

This week in Spring 5% Challenge we must blog daily - so here is today's blog!

Weighed in at 122 this morning - and we're off and losing!!

Gotta go walking - credit up to 120 minutes daily!!

Dell brought my new HD and Motherboard yesterday and reinstalled my system - I have something called "Sticky Notes" and will try them for this challenge!

Spring 5% Challenge Goals

One of the "challenges" from the 2011 Spring 5% Challenge Spark Team.

List all the reasons you want to lose weight
Get back to my "ideal weight"

What do you want to change?
I need to be doing my WATP more often again.
No more guessing about portion sizes.

How do you want to look?
I really won't look much different, but my clothing will fit better again.

How do you want to feel?
I want to feel good about myself. I want to feel motivated again.

What things will you be able to do in the future with a slimmer healthier body?
The sky's the limit.

And list all the OTHER things that you want to change!
I want to surround myself with others wanting to lose weight and keep it off.
Whining doesn't work.
I need to remember not to guesstimate portions - that won't work.

What are my trigger foods?
Peanut Butter and Cookies.

**funny Tony - I never really liked peanut butter cookies - kind of like loving oatmeal cookies but dislike oatmeal!!

    Great goals. I eat a lot of peanut butter (not at one time, tho ;-) It's high in protein and I have reactive hypoglycemia. I also have a lot of difficulty getting enough protein when I track it.
