Mama was right!
No dessert until you eat your veggies!!
Veggies are so important to weight loss - they cannot be skipped or ignored.
Grab a carrot and make like Bugs Bunny!
Have a munchy, crunchy day!
**my mama also used to belong to the 'clean plate' society! how often we heard how children were starving in *___* - I remember countless times offering to send my lima beans and onions to them!!
*** carrot cake - hmmmm - that's right there with zucchini bread - not really a veggie, lol.
I don't know if I was able to save the image but I received a "Completed Virtual Race" Spark Trophy yesterday and I am just tickled to get it!!
On another note - just as important to me - I might have found the reason for my recent weight gains! I am eating too much fruit!!
Yes, I am counting calories and watching the Carbs but apparently you can eat too much fruit and gain weight - I guess my body can't process this much sugar.
so I am going to backtrack and see what I was eating when more successful with the weight loss!
Always remember -
**edit: One day no fruit for dinner and down 1/2 pound. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed - used to cross my eyes but Mama said my face would freeze that way!
** 2nd day no dinner fruit and down another 3/10ths! WooHoo!! Still eating my 3 fruit portions for breakfast!!
** 3rd day - up 1/10th but weighed an hour early and that can account for 1/10th. At least not a significant gain! My deficit yesterday was only 112.
**4th day - up another 1/10th! AARGH!! Hmmmm - could it be the grapes?! I only started eating them last week to help DH!
**5th day - really can't count it because I went totally nutzo yesterday and ate at least 1000 over my allowance. *sigh* there will be days like this!
**7th day and coming back down again after no grapes, lol. Maybe?? But today is cheesecake day, lol.
