Here is the note I received in my email today:
Well, the doctor just called and said the cancer screening was negative
which I guess means that's it's "very" low risk that it's cancer so now
he's giving me 96% that it's benign. He wants the cancer doctor to do
the surgery as "just in case" there's a problem he doesn't want to have
to stop during the surgery and get someone there to look at things. He
also said the cancer doctor may be able to do robotic surgery (who knew
there was such a thing), which would be less cutting and could possibly
go home the next day. Can you believe that? He also said I wouldn't know
if the tumor is malignant until about 2 days after the surgery. So, I'm
really going to try to stop stressing and will call this doctor tomorrow
(as my doctor wants to fill him in on things) and set up the surgery as
soon as possible. I started crying and the doctor said "this is GOOD news!"
Thanks again for all your prayers. I love you all.
With tears in my eyes, I am again thanking everyone who took time out of their busy day to say a prayer for an unknown friend of mine.
To say she is overwhelmed is an understatement.
Bless you all!
