I know that our needs are all different so I am posting this here for all to see.
My goals may not be the same as your goals! This is OK! There is nothing wrong with going for your own goals.
In keeping with my goals for 2010, I have decided to join the Spark Your Body Bootcamp Challenge and Contest Spark Team www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/groups_i ndividual.asp?gid=37611
because I really need to get serious about Strength Training. I need to make time for some serious muscle making! I also need to get over the weight thing - 120 feels great, but muscles will feel even better!
But it did make me reevaluate my calories in vs. calories out. Until the rains stop I am at a loss for walking unless I climb on the treadmill. *sigh* So today I said, "get on tubby!"
I did 3 miles and I feel fabulous! Not fast miles, mind you, just 2.5 miles per hour, but I did it in 2 increments; 30 min and 50 min! I am going to try to get on again tonight and see if I can manage at least another 20 for an even 100. 100 minutes is half what I was doing regularly so I would be satisfied.
A body gets used to the extra calories in.

12/22 120.6 and I am doing ST!! Back in the 20's!
