Computer Crashing is driving me nuts!

Sunday, January 25, 2009

This is really the easiest way to let y'all know I am having some real "connection issues" and tomorrow will try again.

Even formatting the drive isn't stopping the BSOD so tomorrow I will try something else.

This laptop is just soooo slooooowwww.

Be back as soon as I am able!

Why I no longer eat Twinkies, cakes or muffins!

Saturday, January 24, 2009

Twinkies, cakes and muffins are made with flour and water.

Flour and Water makes paste.

When I eat Twinkies, cakes and muffins I am eating paste. And I was pasting these Twinkies, cakes and muffins onto my thighs and butt!

I don't make a lot of paste. But I love dipping my thighs and butt in chocolate. Oh well, I'm not doing that these days.

scarlett hates twinkies, cakes, and muffins- luckily for me. i think you are onto something though... scarlett doesn't like them because when i eat these things (including bread) it balls up like paste in my tummy and can't get past the band which usually results in vomiting. nice, huh?

The train to 130-ville, now boarding!

Friday, January 23, 2009

It's official, I have left 140-ville behind me! I bounced around from 139 to 140 so many times I decided it wouldn't be official until I finally hit 138*anything* and today I have!

I don't like leaving my friends behind, I don't want anyone missing me - so come on down and join me! I have been advised there is plenty of room for everybody here!

I can honestly say I have not experienced hunger on this journey other than the few times I burned off more than I was eating. And I have not felt deprived. Depraved maybe, but not deprived.

And every time I got 'stuck' I was able to get unstuck by returning to fruits & veggies. I guess that is the real secret to success. Don't like veggies? Work in a few more fruits.

This A.M. I said to my DH that the fresh fruit has been worth it, and cheaper than a gym which I didn't feel we can afford at this time.

**OMG, I can't believe I forgot the best part! I can maintain any weight I am reaching!! Wow!!

I don't feel thinner...

Thursday, January 22, 2009

Today was epiphany day again!

I was walking on the treadmill when I realized I don't feel thinner than family and friends. But I do feel as thin as them!

Wow! So I am not competing with anyone, I am just trying to better myself!

According to "Find Your Perfect Weight" by Coach Dean, my goal weight should be between 110-121 but at the moment I am really happy to just try for 130 and then maybe 5 pounds at a time if I still feel the need to go lower. I hit 139.0 today and that was the prettiest sight I have ever seen!

My waist-to-hip ratio 0.78 which is supposed to be healthy!

What a wonderful journey I am taking and I am so thankful to have so many friends on this journey with me! We are going to make this happen, one day at a time!

And 5+ freggies a day!!

Hugs y'all,
Linda

Raylin that is awesome!!!! I can't wait to be thin again but like you I don't think I will get as thin as I used to be. I would rather be healthy, thin enough that I am happy so I can maintain it.. :-)

DINA:-) was right! I think!

Wednesday, January 21, 2009

In my blog below, Dina commented that she didn't think you could have too much of a calorie deficit. Well, I posted where I found the information.

That said, I was forced to reevaluate my freggies and darn if I am not lacking!! Again!! Back down to 4 a day! Sheesh, need to be up at 5+

Plus, since I have entered into my Fitness Tracker how many calories I am burning and they still keep my calorie range low enough for a huge deficit I now think that Dina was on to something! All I know is since I upped my freggies I am slowly going down again. Thank you so very much Dina!!

And BH, sorry if I made your head hurt, lol.

Bottom line here folks is make sure your tracker knows what you're doing exercise-wise so you are eating enough calories.

Hahah, no problem Linda! I'm working on the veggies too. I get enough fruit but gotta figure out a way to conveniently get more veggies in my diet. I may go back to V8.
