I had blood drawn for my yearly physical today at work and came very close to passing out. I really hate fasting for those things. Really though I don't do well with needles anyway, but this was the first time it's made me dizzy and faint in a while. I sort of wonder if my old friend anemia might be raising it's head, though I guess the bloodwork will show that.

Needless to say that's left me feeling a bit off today so I decided to take it easy for the day.

    It does the same thing to me and I have no anemia. Sometimes it doesn't. Go figure.

Wow three days into June and so far aside from having sweets(good old TOM) I've not done too badly so far, though didn't do any crunches yesterday.

I've done 361 steps on the Interim challenge for the Limes team! Yay me! I've been horrible at doing the intermim challenges and hoping I can get into doing those.

I did (even with the sweets stay) in my calorie range the past three days, however I'm back to my old habits of not getting enough protein! And even with the sweets, my calories were in the low portion of my calorie range. I see I'm going to have to make myself eat more again. Oh today I didn't have any sweets aside from my daily soda. Since I seem to be really migraine prone lately no reason to give myself a headache. But so far less than 20 ounces a day! Yay!

Ok, I'm off to do a few more crunches to end my day. Have a good evening or day!

    Awesome job! I hear you, I am having a hard time keeping up with the steps too, there aren't really any steps that are in my day so I might just skip it cause I need to work on other stuff and not take too much on my plate! Way to go though, sometimes I get migraines from caffeine too, so I understand! Keep it up!

A new month a new chance to get back on track. I'm definitely ready even with a migraine, weather related it looks like.

I've joined a couple of challenges for June to motivate myself and those seem to help!

End of Vacation and Birthday Funness.

So I've been out of town for most of the past week and then came back Friday afternoon for my birthday party and spent most of the weekend catching back up.

Vacation was great, I needed the break from work, it was spent with family, and we bbqed for my birthday/Memorial Day. Then I spent a couple of days with my best friend, I ate a bit better there and got more exercise. Had a blast playing with her baby horses.

I got back to Austin late afternoon on Friday and took a nap then off to the birthday party thrown by my friends here. I had my first drunkage ever, so now can't say that I haven't been, at least they can't try to get me drunk anymore because I haven't been before. I guess everyone needs a drunkage before 40 anyway. In truth I'm a real lightweight though.

Anyway, I'm back and mostly caught back on stuff and ready to start a brand new month of being a bit more healthy.

High School Reunion

Just got home from a long weekend out of town and my high school reunion. Realize now that I seem to be out of the house and back in to life that it is time to get back on board with Spark. I want to be a smaller size for the next reunion! Still it was a lot of fun and not like most of this year seems to have gone well, I've been sick twice, once for an extended period than a three day cold.

So after getting home tonight I've been cleaning house, but took some time to stop and do crunches 130. Yay considering I hadn't kept up well with those either. It's a good start to a new month, well if you don't count my weekend away. But I actually feel better and ready to get back on the ball with Sparking this month!
