Weekend and baby raccoons

This weekend was my birthday and I spent it visiting my family. We went to Shreveport gambling and to a festival and went and saw Indiana Jones. I stayed with my sister and got to play with her "babies" see attached pic. There are four of them total and they just got their eyes open last week. She will keep them probably for the summer and then turn them out probably when the worst part of the summer is over. They are so cute, but I would not want them running around in my apartment.

Haven't blogged in a bit, typing has been about the last thing I've wanted to do the last 2-3 weeks. Just tired and stressed a bit from working at this new position I have at work I think. I'm feeling a bit more motivated now and hope that a week of vacation will help even more. Though my birthday this weekend may sabotage me somewhat since I'm visiting family which means eating bad stuff generally and cake of course. But we're also going to a festival I think which means some walking as well hopefully that will help.

    Happy Birthday!!! before you have a 2nd piece of cake or go overboard, think aobut how you will feel afterwards. I usually end up giving in and eating way more than I need, then really regret it later. So be thoughtful of that before the food hits your mouth! It is ok to have some!

    Hi We try to walk ever time my husband and I go out to eat. We walk and look around in stores. Going to family get together can mean walking around in the yard. Yesterday was our 20th anniversary and we ate out at Outback Steak House. We shared a Blooming onion and brought 1/2 of it home. Each of us had a salad and then halved the main course and dessert. We were both filled up but not over full. Summer brings on more snacking of chips, drinks, and sweets as we are on the go. We went camping last week and I gained 3 pounds at weight in last Thursday. I lost 1 pound this week after eating out yesterday. It's hard to stay on track. My husband thinks it's great I lost 25 pounds last year. I know it should have been a lot more. I will start trying harder. emoticon

Bootcamp catchup

Wow, I spent this evening doing a catchup on the Bootcamp videos, I've done my cardio on every day except one. I couldn't do more than walk early in the week because my IBS flared up. I did videos 1,2,3 and 5 tonight I suspect I will be sore tomorrow. Tomorrow I'm going to pick up a little extra cardio if I can and do the day 7 and day 4 videos as they both work the core, which wasn't done in any of the videos I did today. I'll add in day 6 to my Sunday work and I should then be all caught up. I'm really surprised I got through 4 of those videos today.

Oh no! Over calories

I'm 220 or so calories over for today. I've been within my calorie range or under for about a month or a month and a half. Today my PMS got the best of me and I had way too much potato salad and some m&ms. I guess at least it was mustard potato salad but yeah I don't have any idea why other than being hormonal. Guess I will try and walk a bit more tonight.

    OMG!! Only once?? You are doing great!! Don't worry! Or if you are worried, just eat 220 less over the next day or so! Remember, if you eat less your calories over all, you still lose weight (as TESTER said)

    ther eare actually people on spark who do what's called calorie cycling, where they go up and down in their daily calories, it keeps the body having to metabloize so it doesn't get used to anything. Don't beat youself up over it, treat each day as a brand new clean slate

Boot Camp

Well, didn't weight this morning, so will have to go with my weight from a couple of days ago of 150.2. So far today hasn't been too bad for most of the day. My exercise so far though has consisted of about 35 minutes of putt putt golf. I logged this, but hope I can do some more exercise in a bit though that might not happen.
