It's Friday!!!

Happy Friday everybody! I have successfully done a week of working out and eating (mostly) healthy! So yay for that! My mood has improved so much and I have tons of energy now that I actually brought my grades up a TON and gained some confidence! I feel empowered! Rewarded myself with three books from the library and I'm excited to read them. Hope you all had a great week and HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE! emoticon

Ever since I've started working out and eating right, I've been in a way better mood. I've been more sociable and happier. Scheduling morning workouts are helping me keep my energy throughout the day. Cannot wait to start seeing the physical results even though these emotional and mental results are a reward already! emoticon

Muscle Spasms!

So today during class, I was having insane muscle spasms. Is this from working out? I haven't been pushing myself too hard and I've been eating right? Is this just from me starting to exercise daily again? emoticon

  thank you so much! I was freaking out! I used to get them during Marching band after a long day, i think it was due to laying around all summer and then finally getting back into the swing of things. I'll be sure to take that into advice. Good thing I love avocados and water

    Water yes, also Potassium! Try adding some banana or avocado to your diet and see if that helps! There is a natural potassium/sodium balance in the muscles, and if you're making them work, they're using their resources! Be sure to replenish them!

  Make sure you are drinking enough water as that flushes out the lactic acid that builds up during a workout

Saturday's Child

Today I woke up at 4:30 for no apparent reason, but since I was up I decided to do a beginners workout. It burned and made me feel really REALLY good about myself. Then I went back to sleep. hehe
Lunch was really good. Didn't overeat and had some homemade pico de gallo with a turkey sandwich. Found out we no longer have Veria (the healthy living channel FYI) and so glad I can do yoga using this site's videos. emoticon
I'm aiming for a longer stronger workout tomorrow and to just continue going up from there. :)
