    Welcome to the program!
I have been on LFR for about 7 weeks now - since it started April 19. I have a 9 lb, an 18 lb & a 24 lb kettle bell. I don't use the 9 lb at all anymore.
Here's a link to Alysia's website that helps you determine what size you should be using:

Hope that helps!

I bought mine yesterday @ Target ... bought 10 and 15 only used 10 so far (2 workouts) and i think the 10 is too light for swings/squats..... next workout going to use the 15 for that and 10 for arm presses/rows.....also got a cute pair of pink Go Fit gloves emoticon

Big sporting good stores like Galyans and Dicks Sporting goods will have them. Target and WalMart also carry them. I heard that they're more reasonable at Walmart than Target.

I started out with 10 and 15 pounds, now have 10, 15 & 20... but I think I need something even bigger. Hoping to get a 25-pound for my birthday next week!

LiveFit Revolution Questions ????

Friday, May 28, 2010

I am intrigued by the idea of the live fit revolution and how fast people in that group seem to be loosing weight. I may join....are you doing this program? If so, could you give me some idea of the menu? Is is just a list of items you can eat or is it very specific what you have to have for breakfast, lunch, dinner......

Any info would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

Thanks!

I just joined this yesterday -- did work out #2 -- they email you the diet portion -- restrictive but liveable -- I like that it is spelled out though...... haven't gotten to the ACV yet -- but bought the flax seed and did that today. I read on here that they will let you take ACV pills ---- going to see if I can find them later today ;) emoticon

Little Victory.....Big Motivator

Choices...our whole life boils down to the choices we make. I just got back from a pot luck for a co-worker. I made the choice to attend. I didn't eat Totally healthy, but I didn't go overboard. I brought something I knew was good for me and someone else brought a veggie tray so those were my two biggest indulgences. I did have other things too....but I made healthy choices and you know what???? It totally feels good and makes me want to make more healthy choices the next time I am faced with "what will I eat???"

Burned out!

Thursday, May 20, 2010

I have to say...I have had it up to my neck with my job. I am starting to HATE this place! Nothing is EVER good enough for ANYONE....and let me tell you I am a bit of a perfectionist.....and so things generally are always top notch as far as my customer service skills wether it be to our customers internal (co-workers) or external....HOWEVER...I am starting to realize that no one, including me, can make everyone happy...so SCREW it...that is what I have decided. I am going to do the best job I can let go of my perfectionsism and start worrying about me and not everyone else. Worrying about everyone else is NOT helping me to get healthy it is doing nothing but creating MORE stress than I can handle which is not good for my overweight unhealthy body...the last thing it needs right now is MORE DAMN STRESS!! Ok I'm done...thanks for listening to me rant.....

I second that! Take care of YOU! emoticon
Focus on what you want. Whenever you get that urge to worry about others, read what you wrote, stick to yourself.

Deep breaths & think about your health, never mind the others.

Have a great day! emoticon emoticon
