I'm out of shape.
I shouldn't beat myself up. I had gotten away from exercise last year due to injuries and packed on a ton of weight. I should realize I can not do what I could before and I must build myself up again. Instead I took three fitness classes this week, back to back and I am a tired and worn out puppy. On top of that I also walked at lunch everyday this week even though my feet started yelling at me on the second day.
I think maybe I need a day of rest.

I don't remember a 1st day of spring being this nice weather wise here in upstate NY in quite a while. I spent hours outside cleaning my garden beds, racking leaves, applying mulch, and cleaning my pond. The sun made me do it. I realize that we could still get snow and more than likely will, but I am psyched that we have had such pleasant weather lately.
I am a little on the sore side, but I'm feeling like I can do more everyday. I just keep adding a little more exercise everyday and I am getting stronger. I feel more confident that I can do this!

Tonight took us back in time to a time I do remember, but not one I danced too. We learned Disco and Retro. I believe they are close to the same thing except called different names depending on the generation. The closest I got to a Disco establishment back in the day was to work in one as a waitress. At least tonight we didn't have the flashing lights. However, we did bust out a couple of moves that reminded me of John Travolta in "Saturday Night Fever". The arms up in the air and the hips a shaking. I'm sure I didn't look as smooth as he did, as a matter of fact I just haven't quite found my hip action. This is one thing I can say about Disco, it is a heck of a workout. It got my heart rate up, my face flushed and my hair wet with sweat. Hopefully tomorrows weigh in will show some results.
I encourage you all to bust out a move.
