My husband and I always take Memorial week off in hopes of getting some yard work done. For me I always hope I can plant in my gardens or at least weed them. One of my back yards gardens has an Azalea that was not looking so good at the beginning of spring. My sons decided to buy me a new one for Mother's Day and I thought I would be replacing the old one. However the old one blossomed and I didn't have the heart to give up on it yet. So we needed a new place for the new Azalea. We had this little patch of grass between the front sidewalks that I had a vision of making over. I told the vision to my husband and he made it a reality, with the Azalea in the middle. Here is a a couple of photo's of the area now.
I just love my bike too!
Another vision I had a few years back was another Mother's day gift from the men in my life. We had the boat it was an old one of my son's, but it needed a paint job and some dirt. I have had tried different plants because some don't make it past the animals we have. I am getting more and more success with each passing year. Here is this years project so far.
I have a couple more areas to fill in and then it will be complete for the year. I hope you enjoy my visions!
I am trying to find a new doctor since mine retired last year. I liked him so much that replacing him is proving to be very hard. It is not like you can interview them although I think you should be able too. I went to a new women doctor this Monday and as I was afraid my blood pressure is still running high. I need to lose weight and exercise more. I got the whole portion control and be careful of your carbs. I know what to do... I need to make this a priority!
Today they had cake for a celebration at work. I am eating a grapefruit instead of a piece of cake! Yes, One Step Forward...
Every morning I posted a picture of our front porch view. This was the sun rising on the last day.
The group of girls all went to grade school together. One is actually my best friend from Kindergarten (second on the left) I'm second on the right next to another very good friend from 6th grade. What a great bunch of fun we had!
We hung out a while looking out to sea, not wanting to leave. My dear friend Jackie next to me. I really love this picture.
