Weight goal achieved. I flacuate from 129 to 134 from day to day. Now, I do weigh myself every morning. If I'm on the high end I cut down on daily calories and up the exercises. I'm glad to say most days I'm right on. The day's I love the most are the 129 days. Can you say treat?
I have gone from a size 10 to size 8 while at the 130 mark. I guess the sculpting is paying off. Just bought my first pair of jeans in years. Gosh the price has gone up alot. So, have to keep the weight off, can't afford any more jeans.
The heat has really cramped my jogging. After having to call my husband to come and get me because of being close to heat stroke, I cut from 6 miles to 5 miles, three times a week and just walking 2 miles twice a week.
I do have a problem with eating breakfast. There doesn't seem to be enough time. After I get back for jogging, life kicks in and breakfast goes out the window. Try to make it up with really healthy morning snack.
I am entering my first run in September. It is only 5 miles, but it is a start.

Fabulous site and fabulous people on this fabulous site has inspired me to stay on track and lose weight! From 165 to 130 pounds since February. Not only is the weight gone, but I have gone from barely being able to jog 1/2 a block to doing 5 miles 3 times a week and doing it in 60 minutes(it may be slow, but I'm happy). I will be doing my first offical 5 mile run in Sept(I hope not to be last crossing the finish line; next to last would be ok.).
The site equiped me with knowledge, things like what a portion size is, how to get in the servings of grains, veggies, fruits, there is more to protien than just red meat (my favorites: fish tofu, soybeans), and good snacking habits.
The calorie counter, setting goals, healthful articles, sparkrecipes, all tools designed to promote not only weight loss but healthly eating habits. These habits go with me where ever I am. I CAN maintain anywhere!
The fitness module really helped me build and keep an exercise routine. One that I can manage and actually use. It's a good thing!
Last, but not the least, the people encourage each other to succeed! I could not have gotten this far without the support of the women and men of this site! THANK YOU!

really means I can't do it easily. At least that is the way it seems to me. I hear it and say it all the time, " I can't bend", "I can't walk", "I can't jog", "I can't ....(fill in the blank)".
Yep, my 50+ body is not supple, bendable, stretchable. Why should it be? I nelglected, abused and mistreated it for 30 years and now all af a sudden I want it to respond like it was 20? Yea, right, like that's goin happen. It's pay back time. Want to do squats? Well the price is lots of pain - work thru it. Want to jog-get the knee brace. Do it every day, make yourself stretch that extra 1/4 inch. Go ahead, whine, just do it!!!!
Push MYSELF hard, truth be told it gets easier and when it does, push harder, do more!

haven't had McD in 6 months but today I bought my 2-year granddaughter a Happy Meal. The smell did me in. I had to have a fry. I popped it in my mouth and OMG it was almost as good as sex. So, there I sat in the car, eyes closed, head back, actually groaning. Sorry, but it was worth it!
Now, on to why I would give my granddaughter anything from McDonald's. Nat wanted candy and being the health conscious person I am said no. Tears started to flow and without being aware of what I was saying, out pop McDonald's. Tears disappeared and smiles appeared. Gosh, we learn young. Wonder where it comes from???? (LOL)
After my food binge yesterday, that 1 fry is almost good for me. However, that's another blog.

but what ya gonna do? I like the video I'm using, Kelly Coffey-Meyer's " A New You Coming". It targets the upper, lower and core in a circuit style workout, using hand weights and the step. The total workout is 55 minutes of non-stop exercise, so hopefully that counts as cardio also.
I just don't realize the results as fast for toning as for the initial losing weight happened. Below are measurements from when I started compared with today. Some change, but not much.
