I've had bison before. Some stores in the west sell it certain times of the year. Low in fat and tastes great. Looks like a wonderful dinner. emoticon

BLC22 Goals

Tuesday, June 11, 2013

I wrote this yesterday but it didn't post! Hopefully I can paraphrase effectively what I said yesterday.

For this round, I plan to focus on the things I am doing instead of the weight I want to lose.

These particular tasks have been working for me so I will continue to follow the list:

360 Fitness each week
No Night-Time Snacking
Eat in Calorie Range
Veggies/Fruits with Every Meal
Minimum of 8 Glasses of Water a day
Eat Mindfully
Visualize My Goal

Eat out less. Only on special occasions.
Make a menu for the week each Friday.

Do not get distracted or lose focus.
Sit less.
Check in with my team often.

There is not enough I can say about how amazing the Sheriffs are for my weight loss goals. They keep me positive and accountable. I am thankful to have each and every one of them rooting for me. I'm going to keep things positive and work on staying healthy. Everything will come from that.

I ADORE that you are focusing on what you DO rather than a weight loss goal.. I have a weight loss goal but my focus is definitely on the action that will bring about the weight loss cuz THAT i have control over..

You've got a great set of goals!

Accountability Blog for SE

Sunday, November 11, 2012

What keeps me accountable is the numbers. Tracking my fitness and nutrition really does it for me. I like to see my hard work on paper. Posting a CICO just drives my work home and summarizes my efforts.

Having a commitment to my Sheriffs also is a big deal. I want to do everything I can to contribute to the team. I know my team is relying on me.

In addition, visualizing my goal when I am tempted to get off track helps. I have several good reasons to work hard toward my goal. I just have to keep them in mind all the time. Keeping a scale in my kitchen also helps.

My Updates

Friday, October 26, 2012

It so hard to me to blog everyday. Or even once a week. Just don't know what to say.

Things are going well. I'm working out everyday. Love getting outside to do it. Today is rainy and cold so I'm inside today but I've been missing my Exerbeat so I'm excited to be inside.

My meals have been healthy. I went out to a Mexican restaurant Wednesday and I know that salt got involved but I'm happy to report that I avoided the chips (only had a few w/ salsa) and I don't like rice and beans so it's easy to skip them. I always order fajitas. My weak point is the flour tortillas they give you to make them with. But I think I solved that issue. I have to go to a good place with the right flavors. Also, I asked them to add Serrano peppers to my meat and veggies this time. Omg, it tasted so good that I didn't even get the fillings to the tortillas.

On a personal note, things area little stressful. We are buying a house and the finances are taking over my thoughts. It's just such a large investment and then there's all the changes we'll want/need to make plus we still have the condo, etc. I know everything is covered (it's my responsibility to make sure it is) but when my mind is free, that's where it lands. I gotta stop it.

You are doing so well with keeping everything in control. Great job on controlling your meal in the restaurant.

I intended to blog more often too, but I haven't in a long time!

You have so much going on right now, but you are continuing to do well! Keep it up! Great idea at the Mexican restaurant. Yum!

Just remember, exercise eases stress, so make time for it. emoticon

emoticon If you think there's not much to say at least come by to say that you doing good and you doing a good job. When you have a free time still occupy your mind with a book, a movie, music so the stressful emoticon emoticon thoughts don't get to you. It seems everything is doing fine so there's no reason for stress.
