Day 13/ Week 2

Still feeling good and going strong. This past weekend wasn't as productive as I would want it to be due to the Holiday and traveling and such but I still tried to eat well even if I couldn't fit in the exercise time. I am anxious to step on the scale tomorrow to see if there is any movement, emoticon

Yesterday I bought a coupel of Jillian Michael's videos, and tried one out last night...oh..my...God!!! That woman is intense!! I couldn't do everything she was asking and got very discouraged, then my husband encouraged me with his words. He said, "You may not be able to do it all, but just think, anything is better than what you were doing before {no exercise}." And that is so true! I am not gonna let myself get down because I can't complete the whole DVD in my second week. I will just continue to try my best and maybe one day I can complete it.

My goal this week is to exercise EVERYDAY. No excuses.

    Keep up the good work and don't get discouraged if you can't finish the video...you will be able to do it in no time!

Day 7/ Week 1

WOW!!! This week has fllloooown by! I'm excited to say that I have dropped about 4lbs since last week. Stepping on that scale this morning was nerve-racking but I did it and I am happy with what I saw! I am trying to keep in mind that I may not see such high numbers every week and that is okay. I just have to keep doing what I am doing and I will be fine.

I already feel so much more energetic! Its amazing! I used to get headaches a lot but now they are few and far between. I contribute that to the increased water consumption. Before I MAYBE had 1 glass of water a day, somedays I had none. I was downing atleast two cokes a day and the occasional juice here and there, that was about it. Now I am drinking atleast 5 glasses of just water a day and I have limited myself to one soda a day if any. I think my body was begging for water.

Eating healthy isn't bad at all. I felt bad for a millisecond today when I had a small piece of chocolate broken off a chocolate bunny someone had brought into work. then I though, NO! I am not gonna down myself for an inch sized piece of chocolate! I will take that as my week one reward :oP

I have made it almost half way through the Spark book and love the inspiration and motivation it gives me. I can't wait to pick it back up tonight.

I have worked out every single day (except for Sat and Sun and I did housework and shopped those days so I consider that a workout) even though it has been hard to get motivated somehow. I am a TV fanatic, last night I had a difficult time getting motivated because I had sooo many shows I wanted to watch (Biggest Loser, American Idol and my DVR'd Dancing With the Stars). So, I made myself a promise, I could watch these shows IF I worked out during the commercials. And I did just that! I got my workout in and I was able to enjoy my shows. It felt great.

I look forward to continuing this next week and so on. This has been great so far and i can hope it will only get better.
