I have been doing much better the last few days. Using the food tracker is really helping me stay on track. I just need to step up my activity a little bit. I have been walking but not really enough. I am really just still learning this site. I think I will try to use the activity tracker on here.

Weight lose challenge

Hello all. At my work we have decided to start a weight lose challenge next week it is going to last 4 weeks. I twill cost everyone $1.00 per week and at the end of the 4 weeks the person with the biggest percentage of weight lost will win the money. I plan on winning the money.

    Good luck, I only wish someone would pay me for doing this! So if you can win a few bucks, more power to you. I see you are struggling maybe some like me. I have to say when I started that I wasn't sure it would work. But it did, and it shocked me! I didn't do any big fancy workouts. Honestly, I walked at the local park at good pace while listening to my ipod for 30 minutes almost every day. The first couple of days I got cramps in my calves I was so out of shape. And then I just ate less, not even a whole lot better, just less. I am not a big salad eating, carrot dippin kind of girl. It helps a whole lot for me to record my food thru the day so I know when to wrap up the eating. I was shocked to learn that 1 tbsp of butter is 100 calories! Well, I don't have that a whole lot now. So really, walk some and eat less. And attitude is a big part too. That is the part I struggle with right now! So keep on working on it, and I will keep up with you. Tina

I have really fell off the wagon so to speak. I have not really got on to using this site much yet. I need to get back on track. Any good ideas??

  Thanks for the encouragement. I feel much better today. My daughter and I played some tennis last night along with eating well all day yesterday.

    Well you have took 1 step in the right way and that is by posting and sharing and coming here.

take it slow dont push yourself to fast and make small changes in your day by adding somthing like a small walk or something Also just play around here and see what you can find to get you going this site has alot of motavation and will get you going once you find what you like here. as just post and let people know who you are and what your goals are and youll be suprised at the comments you get back and that will also help you out. As well as the rest of the people here on sparks Im here for you if you need a hand or even support
