My mini goal plan is really working. I am finding myself reaching for water over other drinks all day long. I am more regular with my supplements but still need work in that area.
I have been walking and reaching my goals until the flu set in, so once I am able to breath again, I will start walking once more. I find that I miss the extra time to myself.
I had a great first weight in, and I wasn't "number" worrying like I used to since I only allow myself to get the scale out at the end of my mini plan. I'm keeping that goal, it keeps me on my toes more.
My support team has been wonderful, and I hope I have returned the favor as well.
So what is the next set of mini goals? The first goals are still in place, but I am adding:
1. Trying to stay away from white flour products. By this I mean, not completely taking them from my diet, but in moderation. I don't want to live without pasta for the rest of my life, I just want to be much smarter in my choices.
2. More salads. I really have to increase my veggie intake. It has not been a strong point in my life, but its time to make that change now.
3. Once, I am better, which should be in another few days, (I don't bounce back as fast as when I was younger) I would like to increase my steps to 10,000 a day. 7500 was easy in the end.
4. Be a great spark friend to those on this journey with me.
I think that is enough for this 2 week mini plan. I will weigh in again in 14 days from today.
