Um, anyone watch the Disney Channel back when you had to pay extra for it? (Like, in the 90s...)
But, anyway, yeah. I'm getting a new haircut tomorrow and I am très excited because I LOVE it when my hair's short! ^__^
I did the Victoria Beckham before, so now I'm gonna give this a try:
I'm hoping that, first of all, the beautician gets it right, and, second, that it'll look good on me and I can pull it off. ^__^;
Maybe it'll lead to renewed confidence. God knows, I need it. In any case, I can't wait!! (Technically, it's today...it's past midnight here.)
Wish me luck, and God bless!

I finally got over my plateau and am now below 209, and do you know what that means?
It's true!! I can finally say that I lost 25 lbs!!! Why am I so excited? Well, because it's sort of the first big milestone that I've considered to be the sign that I'm on the right track and that I will remain on that track for the rest of my life.
This is great, because I was getting so depressed about a lot of things like the plateau, and the fact that I read through all of Twilight and feel kind of empty. I desperately need a trip to the library. I think a good fairy tale will cheer me up. I'm thinking Princess Bride, which I've never read before. I also need to find my Crown Duel and Court Duel books because I haven't read them in a while and I love the characters. I wonder if my library has Heir Apparent by Vivian Vande Velde....
Well, as you can see, I've got some things to do, so I'm gonna get going.
Thank you all for your support and if you have any book recommendations, please, don't hesitate to share them! I love reading books that other people have loved. Don't you think they deserve to be shared with as many people as possible?
Anyway, good luck to you all, and God bless!

Two weeks ago, I was 209.8.
This is frustrating, although it is better than gaining weight back. Ugh. Why did I have to reach a plateau now when I'm just about to break 25 lbs. I'm 0.1 lb away from that, to be exact.
Well, there have been a few good things that have happened. My family has been more serious about walking, so I've got them to push me to get a decent amount of steps in by the end of the day. Another good thing is that I've been reading more. One thing in particular being books 1-3 of Twilight, which means that I'm DYING to read the final book, Breaking Dawn. I'm on two different library's waiting lists and it kills me when I think that about a month ago (when I was on the waiting list for the first book, and wasn't sure if I'd like it yet), Breaking Dawn was just sitting there on the library shelf, looking lonely without the other three. Now I wish that I would have grabbed it. *bangs head on keyboard*
Ah, well, I'm starting to read a new book series tonight (The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher)and I'm hoping it'll distract me, but right now nothing seems to compare (I know, scary, right? But if you don't know it already, they're excellent. I've always been a fan of those types of books, I guess.) If anyone wants to read anything somewhat similar, try something by L. J. Smith (ESPECIALLY the Forbidden Game Trilogy) or Vivian Vande Velde (Heir Apparent is one of my favorites).
If any of you would like to recommend something similar, please let me know! I'd very much appreciate it. ^__^ *she's wondering if she should beg, because she's got the itch to read it so bad...^__^;*
Anyway, hope everything's going okay for everyone else and if you're also in a plateau like me, DON'T GIVE UP! I know I won't! ^__^

I'm only 0.8 lbs away from the 25 lb weight loss mark!! I'm sooooo close!! Grraaarrrggghh!!!
Ah, well. There's no helping it. I can only officially weigh myself on Wednesdays so I'd better keep this up so that I can lose a pound!
I think I'll make something yummy with spinach tomorrow....
Yeah, lots and lots of spinach....
*drifts off to lala land, which is mysteriously abound with spinach*

Honestly, how fun does that sound?! I figured out that three minutes of caramel dansen racks up a lot of steps (about 500 of them) on my pedometer.
And every time I do it, I get a side stitch, so I know I'm really pushing myself. I can only do it about 3 minutes at a time now, but I will get better!!
*suddenly has a purpose in life. A silly one, yes, but a purpose*
Yeah, I'm crazy, but I'm gonna be the best caramel dansen-er out there!! XD Oh ho ho hoooo!!
For those of you reading this that aren't otakus and haven't a clue what a caramel dansen looks like, sounds like, tastes like, etc. (wow, I'm tired! Y^__^), I'm terribly sorry to have utterly confused you.
As for the few and the proud who have an idea of what I'm talking about, good for you, and wish me luck!! ^__^;
