I'm not calling my random update blogs anything but what they are - brain dumps. Sure, they keep me accountable, but they let me empty mah head of the things that pop up.
--I discovered I have a nickname at my gym (the ladies' one - Victory): "Legs." They do get a lot of compliments, I got it like that :D Actually, my legs look like hers (Gina Carano, a MMA fighter):
If I could only have her abs, my life would be complete. :)
--Right now I'm on track with eating and workouts, woo! Going hiking with BILLALEX70 and another Sparker this weekend to the Hocking Hills. Should be good times.
--The downtown Y has started Sunday yoga! *happy dance* Now I can take yoga without stressing over missing a workout.
--I love my new spinning shoes. My calves love them too, since it takes a lot of their work and transfers it to my quads. I'll look like Ahnold by the time the Classic rolls into town. I'm already seeing the effects, but I only have to do body-weight squats now, woo.
--The sun was out for a little bit today; I can't wait until it's warm enough to be outdoors for more than 5 minutes at a time. :)
--I got my invitation to a friends' wedding in March. Road trip! Maybe it will be above zero in Iowa by then.
--New rule: not allowed to use alcohol as a food substitute for three months, even if I gain 50 pounds. Did good this weekend, ate food instead of drinking. Still had the same ick the next morning. Hm...no, I need to stop.
--More sleep = higher mental function and better mood. Who knew?
