Thought I'd get a break

I FINALLY got all the drapery for our livingroom to finish it, but that wasn't without a job and a half. I had to go to EVERY Pier Import 1 store in the area, because the stores didn't have the number of panels I needed. I needed 10-11 panels. The regional manager was going out of town to another Pier Import 1 store and he picked up the last 4 panels I needed at that store and brought them back to the store that was 30 minutes from me. This was a job, because number 1 we had hired a person we know to do the drapery for us. She came and measured and we were suppose to go shopping the next weekend for material and she backed out WITHOUT calling me. I called to tell her I was on my way and I was told then she couldn't. THEN she never called and after a month went by I was left searching for drapes once again. We wanted a certain color that is VERY HARD to get and THANK GOD Pier 1 had them, but like I said lots of traveling to get the number panels I needed. I thought oh good I get to relax now that job is DONE..... No.......... next story.......

The very next week where I "thought" I'd get a break I find out our FLOOD INSURANCE went up OVER A $6,000.00 PLUS INCREASE. It's a TOTAL ERROR, but do you know HOW MUCH TIME, WORK AND HOW HARD IT IS TO CONVINCE FEMA this was a error. We've been here 7 years now paying the same basic price and our neighbors too. But, FEMA knows we're PRESSED FOR TIME and if ANYBODY stalls with paper work (which is out of my hands) then we have to PAY IT by May 2nd or FORECLOSE on our home. I've been a WRECK doing EVERYTHING POSSIBLE getting all the paper work copied, faxed, calling EVERYONE I can and going to different offices. Meanwhile this WHOLE TIME my husband figures it'll all be fixed or we'll just pay the amount we're suppose to. My husband just doesn't get the whole thing about how banks work with mortgages and insurance not being paid and all. I TOTALLY got serious with him this last weekend about it. He doesn't stress, because he knows I'm on it and I always do a great job taking care of things. This is TRUE........BUT..........I CANNOT CONTROL IF OTHERS DO NOT DO THEIR JOB AND I GO CRAZY WITH THAT.

Okay, I gotta go I have SO MANY THINGS I've been lacking on because of all this. I have a LONG LIST of to do's today. PLEASE IF YOU PRAY, PRAY THIS IS RESOLVED ON TIME............ THANK YOU............

I've been playing online games to get my mind off all this and haven't been doing much else online. HOPE YOU ALL ARE WELL.

Thank You for writing. I received bad news twice today one from another agentancy saying the quote is $500.00 MORE bringing it from $7,454.00 to $7,954.00. LONG STORY SHORT on the other news my agent emailed me and said.......... There's NOTHING more he can do he's tried everything he can think of. HOW CAN WE PAY $718.00 LAST YR and less every yr before that and the PREVIOUS owners were here 5 yrs and I have THEIR rate being cheaper than what we paid....???!!!!!!! Seeing a LAWYER A.S.A.P for a Free consult on this. MESS UP WE COULD NEVER........SELL THIS HOUSE AT THIS RATE!!!!!!!! We CAN'T go without coverage, so what is one to do............ Missing SP.

Sorry everyone I've had one things after another keeping me away from the COMPUTER never mind SP. HOPING things will settle down some SOON. We move into our newly renovated livingroom NEXT WEEKEND. We still have drapery and decorating to do, but that has to wait as money has been going in SO MANY directions this whole last year and work is slower. Will share pictures as time allows. Sorry everyone I haven't been on. Due to the busy holiday stuff, being sick since before Christmas with a stubborn cold still sick and now some personal issue's. I was in a kindda shut down mode too with all that, but now it's moreso I just don't feel like doing ANYTHING....... I HATE IT and hope I bounce back SOON................ I HATE THIS MODE!!!!!!!!!!! Don't worry.........good thing is......I DON'T EAT in this mode don't care to do that either..........

Hello to all of you and hope you all are well. I'm not on the computer much since being sick before Christmas. Was in bed 2 WHOLE DAYS......... :-X I'm up and around now, but taking it SLOW as I don't seem to be getting better.

I finally have my Digital SLR Camera and now let the LEARNING begin......... Now I just need to DECIDE on WHAT Digital photography book for this camera that is best for me to get. hmmmmmmm DECISIONS NEVER ENDING........

Will be on more once I'm better, but it's going to be AWHILE it seems. Doing ALL THE RIGHT THINGS TRUST ME........... Love and MISS YOU ALL................

Good luck....Digital Photography School here online is a good place to start. I have found that learning things online is easier for me than reading a whole book. I have a Nikon SLR and I have a smaller sony compact camera. Obviously for general snapping I use the sony camera, but it's nice to have the option to do more professional pictures. Wow. My husband has 2 cameras... and they are so fancy, I can barely take a picture w/them, but I still think mine are better than his. He knows all the details and this and that about them. Friends Skate Shop ROBBED.....

Please pray for my friends Donald and Sandy Craven. Donald was recently DX with stage 4 cancer. Well... as if that wasn't enough their skate boarding shop was robbed during the night and they have no insurance and the ALARM NEVER WENT OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please pray they FIND who did this. Donald CAN'T HANDLE this on top of his cancer issue's and WANTS TO SELL THE FAMILY BUSINESS THAT AFFECTS SO............MANY YOUNGS BOYS IN OUR COMMUNITY. They go there for ALL their skate supplies and to skate and hang out to STAY OFF THE STREETS AND OUT OF TROUBLE......... They need SERIOUS PRAYER........... THANK YOU.............

About Donalds cancer he got Chemo two rounds of treatments so far. They treat him 3 days in one week and then he gets 2 weeks off from treatment. Then they do the 3 days in one week and then 2 weeks off again. He had his 2nd round of treatment LAST week and he's wanting to STOP ALL TREATMENTS. His wife is wanting to be supportive, but it's HARD. Next they need to find out what this means. They never discussed with the doctor either way with or without treatment what it means for him and now with stopping (if he reallys does) they want to ask how much time he has. VERY SAD............. They are the SWEETEST COUPLE................

Thank You for your prayers everyone. I LOVE THIS WHOLE FAMILY THEY ARE A MAJOR BLESSING AND WE SPEND A LOT OF TIME WITH THEM ALL! They ARE selling their store the For Sale sign is already up. Donald is just torn up about all this and has NO ENERGY OR STRENGTH. Now he has to DRIVE 10 hours MONDAY to go to the distributor to get more supplies, because the next shipment won't be in on time for people's Christmas shopping........ It's 5 hours there and 5 hours back. PRAY FOR HIM THIS IS A LOT FOR HIM TO DO........ I was going to go help, but have something going on Monday....... :-( His 14 yr old son will be going with him.
