New Health Kick!

I joined a simple challenge on Skinnyo on April 25, 2014 at 147lb. I am now 143 lb in less than 2 weeks. I have been finding it really hard to get the motivation to get healthy and lose weight, but for some reason I suddenly have motivation. I am back using the Spark nutrition/fitness trackers. I need to try to fit my workouts in though. I am finding it much harder to do that now that I have 2 kids that take up the majority of my time. The bikini photo is from my last health kick (before kids). I NEED TO FIND A WAY TO WORKOUT EVERYDAY! I am determined to get to my goal weight of 130lb!

I plan to eat healthier!
I plan to eat more fresh fruits and veggies!
I plan to track my food and plan meals ahead!
I plan to exercise at least 20 minutes per day!
I plan to drink 8 glasses of water per day!

I broke bad habit number 2 yesterday: Over-eating at a party. I went to a birthday party and did great with my eating. YAY!

My bad habit I am breaking today is sneaking just a little bit of bad food that I sometimes don't count in my calorie tracking. Like a spoon of chocolate chips (to get my fix!)....I am stopping this today! I must track it and make sure I stay in my range.

    SP is all about moderation. You don't need to give up the spoonful of chocolate chips in order to lose weight - but by tracking it, you can help yourself keep it to 1 spoonful not 10. Chocolate is good for you in many ways, as long as it is just a little at a time.

Good job admitting the habit and trying to change it. Every day is a chance to do a little better.

    Woo hoo!!! That is a great one! Those little bits really add up quick.. especially since they are generally the higher calorie "bad" foods that we do that with. ROCK IT!
