Week 4

This week I gained half a pound, which is a little disappointing, but I know weight loss goes up and down. I am going to try to drink more water this week. I am measuring monthly and I have lost 2.5 inches overall. On to Week 5!

    Hmmm, that is a bit of a bummer, but like you said, weight fluctuates so much, it could just be a fluke. Inches are coming off so just keep up the good work and I am sure you will continue to see results!

I have been easing into the entire workout thing due to the fact that I had some set backs last year, as a few may know. I have been using Slim in 6 and a few workouts from the Slim Series, with a stretch on Saturdays. 3 days a week is my main focus, but if I feel like I have energy or want to do another workout I will. I also incorporated Walk Away the Pounds as another easier exercise to ease into it.

Today I was feeling rather energized and feeling like I wanted to dance a little. I was going to do Turbo Jam 20 minutes, to start simple. I love doing TJ because it makes me feel strong, it's fun, has great music and the instructor is motivating. I came home all pumped and got ready. Then....couldn't find it. I was so bummed! I forgot I had loaned it to a friend of mine. So I looked through my workouts and decided I would do one of the 30 min ones. If I felt I should stop, I would. But wouldn't you know it? I got through it, I didn't feel at all winded or terrible and now I feel fantastic! WOO!

Week 3 is a great success. Actually worked out 5 days this week, which was unexpected. I lost 1.7 pounds. On to Week 4!

Week 2

Well I got through another week. While it was a little easier to follow the diet this week, I found that I was a little lazier and relied too much on bars and shakes. Much better weight loss if I eat lots of veggies. I've lost a total of 5.2 pounds. Down 1.5 from last week. Technically I can begin the next phase of Atkins, which is OWL (ongoing weight loss). You slowly add different types of foods that may have more carbs. The first things you add are nuts and berries. I'm going to try a little of this. I did 4 workouts this week! Trying for the same this coming week.

    Wow, you are doing great! It is easy to fall back on convenience foods (i.e., shakes and bars) but the veggies are so good for you! I have the same problem, I need to eat more veggies too!

  I know here also, veggies helps so much. They fill you up and you just feel so much better once all the sugar is out of your system
