Today was my first try at running and I did it. I've never been a fan of running but was encouraged to try the C25K program. Lucky for me, my husband is joining me in this journey. We went to a park down the road, which is perfect for this and through our alternating walking/running for today for 20 minutes, and walking before and after, we reached just about 2 miles. I feel good! So two more times this week after work, which will be my real challenge since it will be much hotter later in the day and will probably be more tired after working all day. I lost 2.8 pounds this week so I hope to lose some more this week.
