So on Friday I went to see a cardiologist. My family doctor recommended I go. I already have high cholesterol - 250- and I'm on Zocor. He is not too sure about my blood pressure- feels that from looking through my chart, that I'm on the cusp of having it. Wants me to lose 10 pounds, walk 20 minutes, 3x's a day, and start a low sodium, low fat diet. The good news is that I work out 6 days a week on a good week, so I should have no problem with the exercise portion. Bad news is that I am so horrible with diets! So I went ahead and printed out my spark diet for the week and today I'll go get the things on my grocery list. For the first time in my life, my husband has decided he will eat what I eat for dinner time. I'm a little shocked by this!
This coming Friday I am supposed to go get an echo stress test on my heart. The day before I turn 30! We'll see what happens with that!
