So I'm chugging along here with Turbo Fire. Got through the first two days, with a break today and then a workout tonight. The original plan has only a one day break, but I have found that I do better with two breaks. I usually break on Wed and Fri because Wed is halfway through the week and Friday is just too hard to work out. Sometimes I use Friday as a makeup day if I end up with a headache or another work out day.
I've been reading about Clean Eating, which is what a coach on another program I use, was recommending. I went ahead and purchased the Clean Eating Diet and Cookbook and got it in the mail yesterday. I was looking through it and got pretty excited about it. Most of the recipes are really simple and some require you to purchase some products that I probably wouldn't use normally, but once I purchased them, I would have them for a bit. I got really excited about making my own granola, even though it sounds like it will take several hours! I also saw a great hummus recipe and I eat hummus like it's going out of style! The other great thing about this cookbook is that it will tell you a season that it is good for, so if there are ingredients that are cheaper during the summer months, or fall months, then it will note that. I thought that was a neat idea! I hate trying to shop for stuff and it's either double the price because it's off-season, or you can't find it. I think my husband is on board with it and I'm just ready to get started!
