My official weigh in was 4 pounds lost in 30 days. While this feels so slow, I believe it is a good way to lose weight - building muscle and some cardio to shed more pounds. Going to continue to track my food and use the containers over the next few weeks, including Thanksgiving! I don't want to undo my accomplishment. I took before and then after pics and it was amazing to see. When you look at yourself every day in the mirror, you might see subtle changes, or feel some clothing fit looser, but when you compare these pics side by side- it's so awesome! I can see more definition in my belly area! It was pretty cool! Still have a ways to go!

That's awesome! I'm losing pretty slowly as well, but can tell I must be losing inches & gaining muscle. It's hard to be content with NSVs (non-scale victories) since we're normally so scale oriented. Keep it up! emoticon

Day 30!

Tuesday, November 18, 2014

Today is the last day of my 30 day challenge. Technically, I send in my weight tomorrow, but I had gone ahead and weighed and measured today. I lost 3.4 pounds and 3.5 inches. I'm going to continue on through the next week, but I'm going to start another 21 Day challenge starting Dec 1st with the same program.

Oh I was doing the 21 Day Fix program, which is only 3 weeks, but I repeated it to complete the 30 day Challenge. Thanks!

Day 26

Friday, November 14, 2014

It is Day 26 of my 30 Day Challenge and I'm in my second round of 21 Day Fix. As of last Sunday when I weighed, I had lost 3.3 pounds, which is great. I bought the Ab Fix and Barre Fix workouts and they are sure tough, but I threw those into the mix this week. When my challenge is over, I plan on completing the 21 days of this program, and from there, not sure what workout plan I will do.

What I love about this program is that it is only 30 minutes and there are alot of exercises crammed into those 30 minutes. The other thing I love is the variation of workouts. You do everything: cardio, pilates, yoga, weights.

So I'm excited to be almost done, but I hope to continue with my weight loss and getting in shape.

You would love it! I am doing the meal program. It was a little overwhelming at first and I spent so much time preparing my lunches and dinners every day. I am getting better at it and faster. It takes the program to a different level than a regular workout program.

Day 1! 21-Day Fix

Monday, October 20, 2014

I'm pretty pumped about my 30 day challenge with the 21 Day Fix and meal plan, although I woke up kinda tired today. When I received all the little tupperware things for the various foods, I thought, wow, these are SO small. But this morning I had eggs and the amount of oatmeal I should eat and I almost couldn't eat it all! Plus I am going to try to eat every 2 hours. I am thinking at first I shouldn't have a problem with feeling full, but then as I workout every day and my body gets used to it, I may get the hunger pangs. I've already told my husband to not let me eat anything off my plan!

Slight Detour Ahead

Friday, October 10, 2014

It's not really a bad thing . My plan is to eventually finish Turbo Fire- that's my ultimate goal. Through some random encounters, I will be doing a 30 day challenge, starting on October 20th. This will be with the workout and eating program called 21 Day Fix. I"m really looking forward to joining a group to do this. So until then and after I'm finished, I'm going to do Turbo Fire.
