Happy Easter

Sunday, April 24, 2011

A lady opened her refrigerator and saw a rabbit sitting on one of the shelves.
"What are you doing in there?" She asked.

The rabbit replied:
"This is a Westinghouse, isn't it?",
To which the lady replied "Yes."
"Well," the rabbit said,

"I'm westing."

Sorry... I couldn't stop myself.
Have a Wonderful Easter...

My week in review

Sunday, March 27, 2011

Made one emergency trip to the eye dr for dd who was complaining that she had no peripherial vision.

Made one trip to the hospital ER for ds who walked in front of a baseball bat in full swing and ended up with a softball size lump on his forehead.

Made one emergency trip to the vet for little pet bunny who sadly less than an hour later passed away after visit
emoticon

For me personally, made one trip to the dr out of the blue for bloody urine. 3rd time this month so now I have to see a urologist next month, to which I am very nervous about and praying for good results.

It's been a stressful week and I feel like I've been on the verge of tears all day.
Thanks for listening....or reading.

Sounds like you've had a busy time with the doctors. I hope things settle down for you a bit now. I hope you get good news from the tests.

Hang in there. Low spots happen occasionally but they always improve. Went through the blood in urine thing also, after all the tests it ended up being nothing. Try to remain positive, most of the time indicators just never pan out. Here's a hug to help you feel better. emoticon

"Pickles"

Wednesday, March 23, 2011

I'm posting this blog in the hopes that anyone who reads it will just say a really quick prayer for my kids pet bunny "Pickles." He's really sick and my kids will be totally devistated if something happens to him. He's such a good bunny. Thank you.

What a week

Saturday, March 19, 2011

It has been one of those weeks for me. In that time I have been told by Dell to reset my computer which is having issues.....back to factory specs not once, but twice. emoticonWhich as you can imagine has wiped out my hard drive 2 x and I have had to start from scratch twice. And the gentlemen in India who try to be so helpful, thank you....but Dell......could you please have someone speak to me who I can understand!!!!

Then my poor DD was having eye issues and I had to make an emergency visit to our eye dr who so kindly told her to come right in. Just to let you know, so far so good. God is watching over her.

Then last night, the end of my week. I made an emergency trip to the local ER for my poor DS. Seems by accident my DD decided to use his head as the baseball for her bat. Actually she was trying to hit something else and he walked in the bats path. Poor guy was in so much pain. DD was mortified, both said it was an accident....but you know what. God took care of him too. Luckily he had a knit cap on which had the rolled cuff and that is exactly where the bat hit. So the hat absorbed a lot of the impact, otherwise the dr said it would have been much much worse.

Today they are playing happily and I am thankful God is watching over me and my family.

WOW!!! Quite a week to say the least. Am so glad you can see it all in the light of God's help. He is so good to us and we often fail to give Him credit. He never gives us more than we can handle!

Oh my goodness, bless your Son and your daughter. I know she must have felt awful. Glad it turned out well.

Hope you got the computer problem fixed. I am not real good about backing my computer up so need to start doing this so if I have to revert back to the factory specs, I haven't lost everything.

Hugs, Sunny

Shopping for the food shelf

Friday, March 04, 2011

I had a wonderful last 2 days with my 2 younger kids ages 9 and 12. Yesterday I went shopping with my 9 year old ds. I told him to pick whatever he wanted off the grocery shelves that we were shopping for food to donate to our local food shelf. He was so excited and had so much fun. At one point when he was picking out cans of fruit he only got 3 cans and I told him he could get more if he wanted to...his sweet response was to tell me that he didn't want to make me go broke. hee hee, so I explained to him that I set money aside for our shopping excursion and he thought that was just great. Then today I did the same thing with my dd, age 12 and she had just as much fun shopping. The van will be full of boxes of food when we go which is good, but the best part was seeing how much fun my kids had shopping for others.
