I am so grateful that I signed up for Sparkpeople. Without the support from all the people and all the tip and techniques I would still be sitting on the couch saying to myself that I will lose the weight but not doing anything. With all your help and encouragement I am sparked to get up and get moving on a daily basis. I have joined mini challenges and logged my water intake as well as the food that I eat. I am not perfect yet I still don't drink water every day or eat as properly I would like but with time and consistency and all your support everyday gets easier.

I haven't been paying enough attention to myself this week. I haven't exercised or drank water. I have eaten junk (but not much). This week will be better I have a new resolve to treat myself better exercise more and drink more water.

I had a great day today I spent it with the people who me the most to me. I did not track my meals or how much water I drank if I exercised or not. I will feel blessed that our day together was great.

Good morning all. I seem to have a problem meeting all my fruit and veggie goals for the day. Anyone have some ideas on how to sneak them in there. I don't know track things like homemade pasta meat sauce full of mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes (canned) and zucchini. I also use a jar sauce that has plenty of chunk veggies as well. I usually have 1/2 cup of sauce to a 1 cup of pasta. Any ideas. Please help. Tracking homemade meals that don't have a label is harder that I thought and would appreciate all the advise anyone could give.

Let me start by saying that I lost a pound this week and the way things have been going between work and sick kids and not eating right that is the best news I have heard all week. I have decided that although I have strength training and cardio scheduled for Mon, Wed, and Fri if I miss doing it on any of those days I could still do it on any of the other four days left in the week and I would still have completed my goals for the week. Just because I missed my scheduled days does not mean I have failed for the week if I get it done on the other four days. It has taken me sometime to figure this out and not feel bad or like a failure for not completing it on those days. Going to grab the kids and take them for a walk today maybe even the park and make my 2 yr old happy. Nothing makes the 8 month old happy right now she is teething.

    Ewwww teething is never fun, my 2 yr old cute her molars not long ago it was enough to drive me to snack!
