Do I feel Fabulous or What???

Monday, May 31, 2010

Just a quick rant, I use spark people mostly on my Iphone. I hate that you can't blog, or do the teams!

Ok off my soap box. I feel great. for the first time in probably 20 years I had to buy a large at the store. The XL was actually swimming on me and looked awful. It is amazing how good clothes can look when they actually fit the way they are supposed to .

I am at tada 210!!!!! I am only 10 lbs away from that infamous 200 mark! I can do it! I can't wait. The last time I saw the 200 mark I was 5 months pregnant with my first son, 11 years ago! I was 170 when I got pregnant with him and gained a whopping 60 lbs!!! I naively thought it will just fall off. Well 3 kids later look who is still hanging on! Since then my highest was 282. That is when I delivered my last son Trey almost 2 years ago. So if you look at it from that side I have lost 72 lbs in 21 months. Not the best record in the world but I am proud!

I am slowly training for a marathon. Not much just a 5K on June 12th. I am sure I won't be the fastest one out there but I know without a doubt I will finish it.

So not I feel better I have caught myself and everyone else up have a happy Memorial Day!

It is scarey to post even a little of how we feel inside. But for me it is theraputic, like writing in a journal only better because we understand and know others understand us and where we are coming from and the support is great. Good luck crossing the 200 mark. You can do it. I know! emoticon

I think it's a good idea to have a rewards system that doesn't involve food! That could be a big reason why I am overweight. I always think of food as a reward! Food should be for nurishment not a reward.

That's an excellent idea! I think I'm going to copy your idea if you don't mind. I think I would add in milestones for my food as well, such as tracking my food on the weekend or meeting my guidelines for calories, protein, and fiber. Congrats on getting below 250 and getting your exercise bands!!!

Holy Moly!

Not many people would be excited to be the weight I am but I am overjoyed. I am 246 lbs. But most importantly I am under 250!!!!!

I have been trying so hard to make this milestone without success. But today I have achieved. I feel like queen of the world.

I just had to share my joy!

Thank you sparkpeople & turbo jam. What a great combo you make!

Way to go!! You should be very proud of yourself for making your goal. Now you need to reward yourself with something positive (not food of course).

Turbo Jammin It!

Saturday, June 27, 2009

Sorry all, I have been MIA. But I think I am getting back into the swing of things. I discovered Turbo Jam. How fun is that. I have done it every night for 6, 7 nights now? Yesterday I actually did the 35 min video twice!!! Never thought I would hear myself say that. Not to mention I never thought I would see these totals eithor:

Cals Burned: 35 / 30 671 / 287
Weekly Cals Burned: 200 / 90 3413 / 860

I about fell over yesterday when I had over 1000 in 1 day! But now my weekly totals are phenomenal. 3413, and there is still 1 day left to count this week. If I do another Turbo Jam video I will be over 4000!!! Holy Moly!

Not to mention this week has been my female week and I was determined not to let that stop me. Usually it will run this motivation train into the ground. I just blew right thru the station and away I went!! Woo Hoo!!

So I just had to pass along my happy moment. I hope you can share yours as well. Slap a smile on and PUMP PUMP PUMP!!!
