Day 11 Stats 2/7

It was a pretty good day today. I cheated a little...it was one of my friends Birthday I had 1/2 of a piece of Birthday Cake. Then promptly went to dance off some of the calories. No real damage done, when I hopped on the scale this AM I had lost .4 lbs from yesterday's weight in.

Calorie goals; 1200/1550 total calories consumed 1606
Fitness minutes; 90
Calories Burned: 570

Friday's are my planned "rest days" I will only walk the dog and follow my food strategy. No gym, no dancing (unless a good song comes on the radio), just to give my poor muscles a chance to rest. Come Saturday it will be back to the gym and (probably) shoveling snow!

Day 10 Stats 2/6

Relatively uneventful day;

Total Calories Consumed 1491
Total Fitness Minutes 41 Light workout at the gym today. The lazy side of my brain tried to make up excuses, but the determined side said "nope, not gonna do that, get off your butt and go". Both sides compromised on 40 minutes instead of the 60+ minutes for the duration of the workout. All body parts left the gym happy!
Total Calories Burned 252

Day 9 (Already?) Stats

I can't believe I've been doing this for 9 days...time flies when you're counting calories and fitness minutes!

Here's what I accomplished yesterday (the infamous day 9!)

Calorie range 1200/1550; calories consumed 1534....ok, I'm happy with that, as usual I could have made some better choices, but I've fallen out of practice with making acceptable substitution. I'll get it back, I'm sure of that. I just have to start thinking and comparing again.

Fitness Goals; 67 minutes total with a total of 300 Calories burned. Yay me! I'd pat me on the back but I worked upper body and it hurts to move my arms (should have stretched more)!

Week 1 Recap

I'm a "tad" behind on my blog entry's, but I will get caught up.

My first week goals were;

My Weekly Calorie Intake was close to target, but still over. I will need to pay closer attention to the food I eat to make sure I'm not overeating and taking in empty calories.

Fitness Minutes Goal 300 mins/Actual 312 mins
Calorie Burn Goal 1510 cal/Actual Calorie Burn 1531

I lost a total of 2 lbs for the week.

All in all, it wasn't a bad week, and I'll give it my best shot for Week 2!

Day 4 Stats 1/30

Here we go.....

Calorie Goal/1200/1550 Calories Eaten 1626...obviously over. Messed up on one of my goals...I ate a snack while watching TV and ate more than I had allowed myself. Lesson learned; prepare only the amount allowed for your snack...leave the rest in the kitchen! Also, don't snack while watching TV! (that's a tough one!)

Calories Burned: 547.....20 minutes walking and went dancing with friends tonight....estimated 60 minutes of actual dancing....great workout and a lot of fun!
