Today's challenge is not to add salt to my food.

This challenge will make my cardiologist happy.

I had to stop using salt because of high blood pressure. I used to salt my food before tasting it but now I don't even miss it. When I do have some salt, things sure taste salty to me now. It is funny how your taste can change over time. Don't forget there is a ton of hidden salt in processed foods that we don't even realize is there. Good luck! emoticon

Today's challenge is to start a new Spark streak.

My streak will be to pack my lunch the night before 5 times a week. This will make my mornings less rushed.

Also, you will probably be able to control your portion sizes and contents far better than you can with restaurant food. The other plus is saving money by not going out to eat. Good idea! emoticon

Today's challenge is to slow down & savor my meals for 20 minutes by limiting distractions, sipping water between bites, and chewing thoroughly.

PS This was a great challenge that I was grateful to have on my day off since I work 8 straight 8 hour day at work. It was nice to sit back and savor my meal.

    This reminded me that I really need to change my eating habits - thanks. I have a bad habit of having the TV on and eating while I'm on the computer - two very bad habits.

Today's challenge is to exercise hard for 20 seconds then rest for 10 seconds for 4 minutes.

I've been exhausted & achey for two days & gave myself permission to rest which is not in my nature! Today I feel better & up for the 4 minute challenge.

Update: I'm back on track. I did an hour of very active minutes on my Fitbit & got my interval training in (my lungs were burning). It feels awesome working out again. I feel well rested and plan on getting to bed at a decent hour.
