Today's challenge is a interval workout with 60 second burst of getting my heart rate up.

I may not be able to complete this one. Yesterday my blood pressure was acting up. 147/127 while my pulse was 66. I took baby aspirin which helped & let my out of state doctor's office know which is what our small town hospital does.

It's frustrating. I'm working hard on being healthy. I choose not to live in fear but embrace life.

P.S. I got in the challenge. My blood pressure did fine! 3 miles of walk/sprint intervals around the track & 16 flights of stairs. I beat my best time by 3 minutes!

I also have high blood pressure! That makes 3 of us and counting. It is okay to give yourself permission to work around your health concerns. I know I do! I am glad you are taking care of yourself. emoticon

Today's challenge is to drink 64 oz of water. I should do well on this. I bring my water bottles to work with me daily.

Today's challenge is to pay attention on how I talk to myself as if I was encouraging a friend instead of berating myself for what I think I didn't accomplish.

I caught myself berating myself and switched it to encourage instead. Great challenge. I learned nurturing is motivating and more conducive to meeting my goals.

Today's challenge is to treat my sore muscles by fitting in a massage or great stretch routine.

I had a wonderful stretch! Today, I was at the dentist office for 2 hours getting a cap put in on my molar right after work. I managed to get in 5 miles afterwards with 11 flights of stairs. The stretch routine felt amazing! Going to bed early felt even better!

Today's challenge is to pay attention to my eating habits and not eat out of boredom. Just eat when I'm hungry.

This was a rough challenge for me. I tended to wait too long to eat, then overeat. I need to remind myself to stop when I'm full! Especially when something I'm eating is tasty! I do better with small portions through out the day.
