I got in 5 miles at the track & a hour of tennis with my girls.

I ate within my ranges.

My doctor wants me to rest one day of the week. They took some more blood tests and I'll go back next month. I lost 4lbs of fat and gained 2lbs of muscle last month.

I'm feeling healthy!

Having a day of rest is important, too, so I think you're doctor might be right. :)

    Fantastic news from the Dr. I take a couple of rest days a week but it depends on how strenuously you exercise. A walk on your day off probably would be just fine if you miss the exercise. Congratulations on getting so healthy! emoticon

I got in 2 SP Pilate workouts. I've got to work on the flexibility. The side planks are really hard. It's amazing that people can actually get in those positions!

I'll get in a lot of walking and stairs in today. I'm off to my Dr appt. Wish me luck!

Talk nice to yourself! All these baby steps add up! It doesn't have to be the number on the scale! The scale doesn't define me! emoticon

5 hours in the car! I managed to get in 20000 steps! My girls were ready to walk when I got home! I love them so much!

Rough day at work. I walked in to find that a coworker committed suicide last night. He is the last person I would have imagined would do that. It doesn't make any sense. He would fill a room with laughter. You could always count on him. I go from being sad to angry.

This is the 3rd suicide in 7 months. Also, 3 close calls. What is going on? I'm sorry to be so depressing but I needed to get it out.

Natasha, Am, and I went for a 5 mile walk. I did a SP workout. I'm going for a jog to clear my head.

    I don't blame you for being sad and angry. That's a perfectly reasonable response to such a thing.

3 suicides in 7 months? That's incredible.

I'm really sorry that this happened. Very sad.

    Suicide may be selfish but the person is in so much pain-mental or physical-that they have no room for any other thoughts. Hugs to you for the pain you are in as you mourn the tragic loss. emoticon emoticon

    Yes, I recently had a similar experience. A young man that trained us in my old work place that was always smiling, always upbeat committed suicide. Again, he was the last person I thought would do that. Such a waste of good people. It is shocking and I always think it is a very selfish act because it really damages other people left behind. I am sorry so many people around you have succumbed to it.

I got in 51 flights of stairs & 5 miles at the track with Am, Natasha & Melissa after work.

Then, came home and finished a SP arm workout. Now, I'm wrapping up the last of the 20000 steps before I settle in for the evening.

Stayed within my ranges. My clothes are fitting loose, however, the scale is stubborn!
