Day 13 of 28 Day Bootcamp!

I completed my SP arm workout. My bonus was the 9 minute seated arm & shoulder workout. Cardio was 9 miles jog/walk.

Please pray for Alvin. He was admitted to the hospital for his heart.

Day 12 of 28 Day Bootcamp!

I completed my SP leg workout. My bonus was the 6 minute butt blaster which I really felt since I got in 31 flights of stairs yesterday. My legs were shaking! I credit this Fitbit &your support! I can't wait to share. It's helping so much with the stress. My husband thinks I'm nuts but loves me anyways. He's eating healthier & exercising!

I had a blast watching the grandchildren. I rocked Travis to sleep. Then, Baylie ran and got her blanket and jumped on my lap. She lasted about 5 minutes before she knocked out. Emma sang me nursery songs. I taught her a couple I did with her daddy when he was little. She enjoyed that.

In the back of my head I'm thinking I've got to get my 10000 steps in before 9. Then, I scolded myself and enjoyed the moment. The parents got home around 8:30. I went for a short run & got the rest of my steps in.

I looked at my nutritional tracker & it was low on carbs. This is where I get in trouble. I figure I can have some Ghiradelli milk chocolate chips (my favorite) & end up eating more then I had planned. I stayed in my range but really sabotage myself with my sweet tooth!

One day at a time. Moderation is key. I can't tell myself it's off limits or I'll eat 2 bags full. It's finding that balance.

Day 11 of 28 Day Bootcamp!

Day 11 SP Ab workout completed! Bonus SP video for today was 12 min seated core workout. Trying to lift both feet off the floor using my abs wasn't pretty. I'll need more work on that.

Cardio for today is stairs my goal is 25 flights of stairs. I'm going to the ocean. There are tons of stairs down to the beach.

Tonight I'm watching my 3 grandchildren so the kids can have a date night! Natasha just surprised me saying she made dinner. So, I've got to run!

Thank you for your support. It means the world to me!

One more thing. I found out I was messing up with my Thyroid meds. My Dr increased my dose because of my blood workup. I was used to taking 1 pill. Now that I put my readers on I see it says 3 pills. It was a relief to me because I thought the higher dose wasn't working.

    You are so funny! Just when I think this is a granny who is can do everything, you confess that you didn't read your prescription right and weren't taking the correct dose of your thyroid meds. Now I feel better, no really, I do feel relieved! You can't leap tall buildings in a single bound. I thought you were supergranny and I would never be able to emulate you. And then you tell us something like this. Thanks for that...now I am inspired to work up to doing some of the exercises you do. So now I realize-I can do this too!

Day 10 of 28 Day Bootcamp!

I got up early so I could get my workout in before my day started getting too busy. I like the arm workout. I'm really trying to focus on form. I did the beginners Pilate workout and love it! It's amazing how much energy I feel.

I had a little scare with my heart. My doctor is working with my doses. My BP looked ok. I carry baby aspirin and it helped. The small hospital we have here does the same thing.

I will find out the layoff determination by March 10th. It will be nice to know one way or the other. I have prepared for it the best I can. So I'm choosing to let go of something I have no control of and looking forward to new beginnings if that's where this takes me.

I want to live in the moment and cherish the many blessings I have around me!

Day 9 of 28 Day Bootcamp!

I did the SP lower body video. It was easier then last week. My bonus was SP 14 minute Bollywood cardio which kicked my butt with all the hopping!

Who would of known that last year I could barely make it down the hall with my blood pressure and heart the way it was. I feel like I'm getting my life back! This really helps with the stress.

I'm off to get my cardio in with the grandchildren rollerskating! Wish me luck!

    You are doing it and also being an example to others that you can come back from unhealthy to healthy just by doing it one step at a time. From one who is unhealthy but wants to get to healthy, I learn by watching. Thanks!
