My youngest brought home a momma cat and her five kittens!

Wednesday, October 17, 2012

My 19 year old couldn't keep the cat at his apartment so I have 6 additions. Grrrrr. He knows I'm a push over and told me he has homes for 4 of them. I need to make sure they have their shots and are fixed prior to leaving.

On another note, I'm going to my Dr tomorrow and hope to hear I can get off of or lower my dosage for two of my high blood pressure meds. Keep me in your prayers!

Isn't it amazing what us mommas do for our kids? Even after their grown up! My son is coming to hunt with his dad next week (starting this Sat., both are taking a weeks vacation time), son is bringing his 80 pound dog with him and guess who gets to rush home from the gym, work, etc. to take care of her during the day? Yep, and I do it happily. Jus' cause he's my son. emoticon
Hope your son did find homes for four of the kitties, only one more to go and the mother cat! Good luck! emoticon

Too many can up the pressure too! I have three dogs,a small parrot, three cockateils, two fish and three chickens. I love them but it's too many rescues, I'm a sucker for unwanted animals but am at my limit:-) I'm glad to hear there are so many homes already! Good luck with the Dr.

I'm a pushover, too - which is why I actually have one more dog (3) and cat (4) than are allowed in the city. I figure the dogs weigh a total of about 35 pounds - and I used to have a 100 pound lab and a 35 pound cocker.

Hope you don't get attached to them before they go to their new homes. Sending positive energy your way for good outcomes with your meds.

One Day at a Time

Tuesday, October 16, 2012

I cut my dosage for high blood pressure in half until I see my doctor. It seems to have helped. I will go in on Thursday. I think I may need to get off of some of the meds due to the 30 pound loss.

Im going to try a naturopath's suggestion. It's called Vasotensin. Just in case you want to look it up and check it out too.

Congratulations on the weight loss. I agree with you on talking to your doctor about your medications. It's great that you thought of that.

Yes, my personal trainer also mentioned that sometimes blood pressure meds can make your pressure too low to even exercise without feeling faint. I wouldn't be at all surprised that with your weight loss you may not need the medication. Fantastic weight loss. Congratulations!

Low Blood Pressure

Monday, October 15, 2012

My blood pressure was 100/60 and I'm sweaty, dizzy, and nauseous. I came home from work early and am waiting on my doctor's office to call me back. I think they need to take me off of the high blood pressure meds.

My blood pressure is usually low but the doctor thinks it is just fine as well as the home health care nurse.

I went from a size 14 to as size 6! I love this site and all the encouragement from all the Spark People! I can't thank everyone enough. It means the world to me! I can't wait for my next blood work up to see what my doctors have to say! Maybe I won't have to see them once a month anymore!!
