Today was pretty good for the most part... and then I ended up not realizing I was eating dairy. I was at my cousin's place and we were having indian food. I had "yogurt raita" which is an indian dish and in my head "yogurt" didn't register as a dairy. So I slipped.
So later, I was like... I already had diary today so might as well get my favorited iced coffee with nonfat milk and 1 splenda. So I did. Lol.
But what SUCKED about my day is that I accidently dropped my cell phone in the toilet and now it's blinking at me. LOL. I hope by tomorrow it stops. =(

This morning I actually wasn't able to get my cholesterol checked. But I decided to start the diet anyway. it sucked because I was STARVING this morning, but it's ok. So I was able to stay dairy & meat free today! Yay!
Usually I'd put my menu up but i'm kinda lazy today so just know I ate lots of fruits and veggies.
Fruits - Banana & Plum
Veggies - Okra & Banana Peppers (from the garden)
I was a little bad though because I had some chocolate, but other than that I was ok.
Exercise - Jogged 2 miles & Walked 1 mile (40 minutes)
Fiber = 32g
Carb = 230 g
Sodium = 1400
Calories = 1300 (Not the best, working on that...)
Fat = 34 (A little low, but that's because I didn't "track" my olive oil fat from dinner)
Protein = 39 (Im still figuring out who's right about the protein debate)
Calcium = 59%
Potassium = 1524/2000
Iron - 84%
Riboflavin = 99 :D

So today I had fudge brownies. 2 of them. and a half. That's about 8g of saturated fat. On top of that Starbucks Java Chip Frap ice cream... another couple grams of saturated fat. On top of that fried wings and popcorn chicken (not too much, but still... more sat. fat) and on top of that I had a 3/4 serving of panda express orange chicken from yesterday.
Ugh today was a horrible day of eating. As i was eating it, I knew it was gross and bad for me. But I was still eating it. =\ I don't understand it at all. And I still have some Starbucks Coffee Cake that I ate a little bit of too. I don't understand why it happened, but it did...
Tomorrow I'm getting my cholesterol screening, and after: I'm hoping for a FRESH start.
Tomorrow will be an amazing day and an amazing blog post about how great I was... no dairy or meat and barely any oils.

So I made an appointment on Friday to get my cholesterol screened! I have to remember not to eat anything past 10 tomorrow! I can drink water though.
Today wasn't horrible, but I had meat. And I had PANDA Express at that! I always go there for the orange chicken and it's never that good. I dont' know why I keep thinking that the next time it will be better. It's overcooked, rough, not soft, and unflavorful. I hate it. Blah!
I also had some Starbucks Java Chip Frappaccino ice cream. So good! Yum! :D
Tomorrow might be uneventful, but I might go for a run.

So Day 3, I am still not on the diet yet, but I did manage to eat a lot of veggies today; not enough fruits. I guess I had one. This week I haven't really been focusing on my diet like I should be. :P
I had a slice of that cheese pizza today and I had some milk this morning. Other than that, I was ok. I didn't have too many bad foods. I had a naan with butter, but I was out and so I ate with my cousins. I didn't eat meat though. I had vegetarian korma. It was pretty good. And I tried a "paan kulfi" if anyone knows what those things are. (It's an Indian thing.)
I need to schedule an appointment to get my cholesterol checked! :D Shall do it tomorrow. :)
