Resting Sore Foot

I've had a sore foot for close to two weeks and finally concluded that possibly 'resting' it may help! However after little or no activity on Saturday and Sunday (and so far today LOL) I'm not sure it has improved very much. There are has been some swelling across the top and that does seem to be less. I may have to give in and visit the doctor!

    You really need to listen to your body! That's the biggest thing I learned when I started working out 3 years ago. I injured my knee and kept running till it was too sore. Well that set me back 2 weeks. Now if a body part is sore I'll try again the next day but if it's the same or worse I'll take a day off at least before trying again. You don't want to be laid up longer than you have to be. Hopefully it gets better soon!

Day 1 of Spark Your Body Bootcamp

Day 1 of Spark Your Body Bootcamp.....a fresh start, a new year. This is the year it is coming together for me. 50 lbs to lose - can only be healthier and fitter in the process - actually the process of healthier and fitter and the pounds will come off. Did the first video this morning and had to use the 'easier' options a couple of times! Have started a journal to track this bootcamp and efforts in 2010 ...... hopefully this will help.

Day 18 of Bootcamp

Here it is ....... Day 18 of Bootcamp and I am still keeping up! I've decided I'm not a 'blogger' as I probably wouldn't blog at all except that Coach Denise includes blogging as part of our challenges for bootcamp! Sigh! This bootcamp has taught me how 'weak' my core is.....therefore I think I will continue most of the exercise videos after the camp wraps up on May 30. It can only be good for me!

Day 4 of Boot Camp

First Day of Bootcamp

Well I survived my first day of my first boot camp! My goal in taking this bootcamp is to break the plateau I have been on.......for way too long! Hopefully doing the video's will help just by changing up my routine for me! I'm such a creature of habit - doing the same things day after day doesn't bother me a bit!

    I survived too. I found these surprising in the past. At the beginning I couldn't do everything but by the end I could do just about everything. And changing up everything every day makes a difference. I know they say it does, but you know seeing is believing!
