First blog of the year!

I'm cleaning out my kitchen!

Before starting

Well, I'm looking at my kitchen as I'm writing right now and feeling a bit intimidated by it. The sink is full of dishes, the floors could do with a mop, and I know the state of the fridge and pantry are a frightening idea. So I will start with a basic cleaning of the "outward" appearance before diving into the depths. Ready or not, here I come!


Next step

That's done. Now I'm gonna head to the fridge and freezer to throw out expired products, get rid of the not so go for you items, and clean them.


Second part of that step

Clean out the pantry. Again, getting rid of expired products and the not so go for you items. Also organizing the items to be more efficient. I did this with the fridge and freezer too, but there wasn't much left to organize. Lol.
...That was quite a task.


Small appliances

Now I will go through all of my small appliances and make sure they are easily accessible, clean, and in working order.


Utensil drawer
I'm organizing all of my utensils to be easily accessible.

    I need to do this as well. I have too many things crammed into drawers and then they stick and I can't get the drawers open. Ha!

Sleep Challenge Insomnia-Busters

The 3 "insomnia-busters" I'm focusing on are not eating crazy before bed, napping only 20 mins a day if I do, and writing down my thoughts and to dos in a journal so not to worry all night.

Starting the Sleep Challenge again. Going to finish this time.

Goals:

My goals are to get a min of 8 hours a night and to sleep through without waking up during those hours. I also plan to bring my 4 hour naps during the day down to 20 minutes.

10 outta 10 on the sleep quiz. Glad I know the stuff, wish I could just follow it now.
