Good Deed, Flowers and Drama!

Thursday, December 20, 2012

Well yesterday afternoon I did my good deed for the day...I gave emoticon blood! It made me feel very good knowing that someone gave blood for my Grandmother and Roger. I can give back. I have been giving blood every two months for the last 3 years. I have a collection of t-shirts that I am so proud to wear. I usually pick up a 2 XL t-shirt unfortunately they were out of. So I picked up a xl and it fit! I could not believe it! I cannot remember when the last time was in a emoticon XL t-shirt! Yeah Me! emoticon

Last night, I pickup a flower emoticon arrangement for my Grandmother's service tomorrow. It was purple and silver poinsettias. It was beautiful. Normally, it would have been $50 and that was a little much on my budget. However, since it was in the Christmas emoticon section I brought it for 50% off! What a blessing!

When I got home, a friend of mine tried to bring me into some drama. I cut it off at the pass but I am still bother by her comments. emoticon Why do words hurt so much?

Words hurt, because they're coming from someone you care enough about to think about as a friend. Sometimes I don't think people are aware of how much power they have with their words. Good for you for cutting it off.

It sounds like things are going okay with you otherwise; just focus on your giving back and celebrating your grandmother's life. Those positives are what deserve your attention!

Good for you on the smaller t-shirt! emoticon

As for the comments and drama with friends... Words do hurt. They can be said so easily, but they are hard to forget and impossible to take back.

Pretending... Christmas Spirit!

Wednesday, December 19, 2012

I did it! I sent all my Christmas emoticon Cards! This is the most cards I have ever made...62 cards! I am so blessed I sent cards to several states. I was amazed where my friends ended up. I sent cards to emoticon Colorado, Florida, New York, Tennessee, South and North Carolina.

Tonight, I will be finishing up wrapping what I do have for Christmas emoticon presents. I am so happy Mom put up the Christmas emoticon Tree. Really she put it up for my son, Kaleb. No one here is really in the Christmas emoticon Spirit. I am trying to be. I put my Christmas emoticon decorations up. I baked emoticon cookies. I play Christmas emoticon music. I have taken my son to see emoticon Santa. We are going to the light show this Saturday. I am trying to feel it but it isn't exactly working.

I am doing the best I can with everything that is going on. My friend emoticon , Ethine, who I work with isn't here today. Her grandfather just emoticon passed last night. She is heading to Florida. emoticon I am praying for her family.

Tonight is my parents' emoticon anniversary. They are going out to the movies. I am not sure what else they have planned.

It sounds to me like your not relaxing enough to just enjoy the day for just being....being carried away by your heart of hearts of joy, laughter, smiling, singing and dancing because you just plain love life and the idea of having fun in just being who you are and what you are doing to celebrate each new day on the way to Christmas Day to enjoy all the people in your life who matter to you.

The decorations really don't mean a thing, it is where your heart and soul are in wanting to share your love with all others just because you are filled with the joy of living life for love.

Good Morning. Well this weekend was so tough. I will be honest with you, I emotionally ate all weekend.

My Grandmother passed on Friday evening. We picked out a pink urn for her on Saturday as well as some pictures. Sunday, I didn't do much I don't even think I cried.

I made it to work today. Part of me wishes I just stayed home. My ex has been giving me crap for a couple of days. I wish he would just leave me alone.

I am just to deal with the crap on me. I wish people would be more considerate of my emotional state!

Wednesday, my parents have their 33rd anniversary. On Friday, we are having a service for Grandma Pauline. In May or June we will be heading to New York for the burial.

Christmas Tree, Shopping and Santa!

Friday, December 14, 2012

The tree emoticon looks so beautiful! The kids actually said "This is the most beautiful tree they have ever had!" We put on Christmas music and danced emoticon around. We sang. emoticon I actually got a old fashion good time going on last night. The way the kids acted I am pretty sure this was the first time they had that.

I didn't get much sleep emoticon last night. After the kids went to bed, James and I sat down and talked and talked and talked emoticon . Before we knew it, MIDNIGHT! We both had to get up early in the morning. It was sure nice to talk to a man that actually listen. I feel very luck to have meet him.

Tonight, Kaleb and I are going swimming emoticon tonight. I figure I need to wear him out before going home. I am finishing up my shopping this weekend. I am finishing up sending out Christmas Cards. Next Monday, I am starting the wrapping emoticon .

Saturday night, Kaleb, Ed (Kaleb's dad) and I are going to a Christmas emoticon Pageant then Lights of Hope.

Sunday Afternoon, Kaleb and I are meeting James and his kids at the horse farm. Eden horse found has a Christmas emoticon event that afternoon. We are going to meet Santa, pet the Reindeer, take a sled ride and much more. We are going to the Roper Mountain Light Show.

It is a lot of emoticon festivities emoticon this weekend. I cannot wait to see how it will go.

Since I have been going to the gym my sneakers are in very rough are being purchased this weekend!
