Progress

Wednesday, March 12, 2014

So I completed week 1 of ripped in 30. I feel a heck of a lot stronger, especially by day 4. I was able to do most of the advance moves too. I've lost about 1.5 pounds and I feel good about it! I've continued doing my lunch time walks providing the weather is decent. I will not measure myself until I've completed the program which should take place around the first week of April. I'm eating a lot better so I"m hoping to see some more progress on the scale.

Working it into March

Thursday, February 27, 2014

So my last blog stated that my panties were getting tighter and now they are getting a bit loose. I've been walking most days of the week during my lunch hour, so this has been a great help. I didn't lose much weight, but my legs are getting stronger, my waist is going down and I'm losing my boobs too!

Next month I plan to move it up a notch by continuing my walks and doing some Jillian Michaels dvds. She kicks butt but shows results. I'll take measurements Saturday morning and keep you posted. Hoping to lose 5 pounds by the end of next month!

Great job! I can't wait for warmer weather so I can get outside to walk, all this snow and ice makes the sidewalks dangerous!

U know you're gaining weight when...

Tuesday, January 14, 2014

You know you're gaining weight when your panties are too damn tight! Lol. I have to admit I haven't done a darn thing since early November. Laziness just on my part. I (weighed myself last week and I was UPPPPPPPPPPPPPP to my all time high of 185 pounds. I haven't seen the 180's in about 5 years emoticon . We'll I have my wedding next year as motivation. I'll start trying on dresses late summer, so I am hoping to lose 20 pounds by then. Hopefully by my wedding day I can reach my ultimate goal of anything under 145 pounds! I started walking during my lunch hour the past two days as a start. I'm taking it slow this time round because I don't want it to go too quick, get excited and start gaining it all back like what's been happening. Stepped on the scale today and I'm down 3 pounds, so here's to a slow start!

The main thing to do when we fall, is to get back up and start all over again! Ya! Me too! Been having trouble since the Halloween season, starting last Summer?! Yep, afraid so, so we're all in the same boat! And, you are one gorgeous woman! Congrats on your wedding coming up! emoticon

Slow and steady wins the race! I can relate to the underwear thing! I remember quite a few days leaving work and my butt was sore from sitting on my underwear seams!

Congratulations on the three-pound loss!

New year, new happenings

Wednesday, January 01, 2014

Hi Spark friends! I last blogged in October talking about my sister's recurring cancer. She's been fully discharged from the hospital a few days before Christmas and is in good spirits. We usually ring in the new year by her house so I was glad we were able to continue this trend this year.

Two years ago I separated from my long-time boyfriend and father of my son. During the past 3 months we were able to reconcile our differences, communicate a heck of a lot more and just let everything out (being upfront and truthful). It was very emotional, but we have agreed to make more positive changes and seek God. We've been going to church together and talking with our reverend on a weekly basis. Sooooooo, my boyfriend asked me to marry him and I accepted. We chose our rings online through mytriorings.com and they won't be delivered till around the end of May (just a little after my birthday). We are planning for a fall 2015 wedding, so that gives us plenty of time to research and save $$ for this event. We don't want to put a lot of $$ into this one day. I've honestly never dreamed of my "fairy tale" wedding and with the economy being "crappy", I'm really trying to keep it a low budget but look extravagant.

Now I really have to get into shape so I can look and feel like the Princess I am. I have 1 yr and 9 mths to get to my ultimate goal of 130 pounds. Will start new program Monday. Got to figure out what I need to do to make this a lifetime commitment and find some oldies but goodies dvds to start off with.

Make 2014 yours Sparkers! Make it happen!!

Follow Up...

Monday, October 28, 2013

So those of you that read my last blog heard that my sister's cancer (leukemia) has returned. It was a very stressful week for me, but she is doing MUCH better and was released on a day pass to go home tonight to spend time with her girls. She's is much better spirits and looks good I might add.. She'll just have to do chemo 7 days/week for the next month.

As for me, things have been going quite positive for me. I lost a pound, half an inch from my waist, arms and legs. It's a slow process but it's a loss nevertheless. Thanks for all the prayers my friends. Keep doing so (praying) cause God will answer them. Have a great night sparkers and thanks again emoticon
