Motivation...

I recently joined a team challenge and the first week's challenge is to discuss what motivates us. I thought about it for a while and I think the thing that motivates me the most is looking better and feeling better about myself. Right now I don't like what I see in the mirror and I hope to change that in the near future. Hopefully this challenge will be a push in the right direction.

I was really bad this past weekend, after doing Pilates on Saturday I didn't work out the rest of the weekend or Monday. I also didn't do well on eating either to be honest. After doing so well the rest of the week I was feeling pretty discouraged, like I had already failed myself. But last night I got my butt into gear and did my workout. And you know what, today I got on the scale and I lost 2 pounds. Not much but definitely a start. So my goal this week is to really buckle down on my workouts and stop making excuses for myself. Hopefully I will be feeling better about this weekend come Monday :)

Actually got up again this morning and worked out. This is quite the feat. I am the first to admit that I am the furthest thing from a morning person there is, so getting up at 4am without hitting snooze is pretty impressive. HAHA. Today was chest and back, definitely feeling it. My plan was to go out and run tonight but its so frickin hot! Ugh. I know it's just an excuse, but I did get a work out in today so all is not lost. Tomorrow is the circuit burn out workout and I'm pretty sure it is going to kick my ass. :) I see everyone else has posted before pictures so i suppose I will too later this week, it won't matter what I look like now after I have a smokin hot bod anyway! :)

Today was my first day of a 12-week program, X-train Fit. It went really well, I feel like I kept up pretty well anyway. When I finished I thought that I didn't really feel it, but now everything from my butt down is sore! LOL. Hopefully tomorrow will go just as well. :)
