I walked 9 miles today and burned over 1000 calories. Today's walk was very hard. I wore the wrong socks. I won't make that mistake again, plus I walked four miles late yesterday. I am going to make sure that I have a rest day prior to my long walk. All that being said it was truly mind over body today. I would NOT let myself quit! Yoga tomorrow. I will get my good stretch.
I must admit it is nice to be home. I spent the weekend at my boyfriend's house, Monday w/ my friend (her husband travels, and she doesn't like to stay alone), and last night at my boyfriend's again. I walked 4 miles today!
