Well, I went to dinner with friends... I chatted with my mom, and she decided she was going to meet up with me at my house. She hadn't eaten dinner yet, so she was going to pick up rice from the Chinese restaurant to bring with her. She got to the house and sat down in the chair to eat with her plate in her lap... Tyler (big a$$ that he is) walked over and yanked the beef on a stick off her plate. He proceeded to INHALE two pieces at once. He swallowed 3/4 of both sticks and as much beef at one time and then I jumped on top of him trying to get the sticks from his mouth. (At this point, I think that he only has one, and thinking it's broken, I've been successful... NOT!) He proceeds to bite down on my fingers on my left hand twice while I'm trying to pull the food out of his mouth. I smacked him in the mouth twice and tried to get him to let go and stop biting down on my fingers. Smacking his mouth to get him to stop was to no avail... Background... Lately he has been very snappish and aggressive with treats. This is not the first time I've gotten my fingers "snapped" and had to reprimand him. I'll tolerate a lot, but a biter is not one of them. At this point, I realize that I can't get any more of the wood sticks, so I give up and go to back up, and MY KNEE POPS AGAIN... I can't get this thing healed up. All in all... A VERY ROUGH NIGHT!!!
Mom, of course, is worried that she's killed the dog with the wooden sticks. I say in my frustration that it's his own fault!!! He has swallowed bones and all kinds of things before being a jerk, so I guess we'll watch him and let nature take its course.
I do hope that when he $hit$ splinters it hurts as bad as my bitten fingers!!!
