very tired today

Going to go to bed now am very tired. Have to wake up very early to go shopping. Have to buy a food scale and replace the vacuum cleaner I broke. We are supposed to get 2 more inches of snow tomorrow.

Getting Over Cold Or Allergies Again

Went out with the dog today and then I spend the whole day sneezing. Back is sore today. Have been doing back extensions on the ball to see if it will help. Got too late yesterday to post and didn't know what to say on Thursday. Now I have to buy a new vacuum cleaner. I broke off a piece on the hose that keeps it hooked in. Trying to knock it non the floor to see what was blocking the hose from getting suction. Never did see anything come out either. Have to do my email before it gets out of control.

  


Another Woo Hoo Moment!

Finally after 2 weeks of gaining I lost 4 pounds this week. All that i drank and strength training must have worked. Went for a 43 minute walk with my daughter today. In the 40's today but tomorrow it will be colder and a snow storm is predicted. Supposed to take the dog in for his annual rabies shot might have to cancel . Supposed to get up to 6 inches of snow tomorrow. Then i can tramp in the snow across the road and burn more calories.

Big Mistake Yesterday

I didn't finish my calories for supper last night and i just found out tonight that i was under again. I only had a little over a thousand calories for the day. Well i can't do anything about that now. Today i am a little bit over in my calories. So i guess it balanced out. Has to be the weather; my back is hurting again. I acted really stupid and childish last night. i was in a tizzy as usual cause of getting the house ready for company tomorrow night. And trying to get my exercise in and my ankle acted up. i had to quit for a while cause i was getting pain in it, So i got mad and took my shoes off and threw them into the living room. And then talked like I didn't care about exercise and losing weight any more; that it didn't matter. All because of a bad foot and working myself into a tizzy over the house. I blew my positive talk right out the window last night. Got most of the house work done today. Changed my one day of only doing strength training to Tuesdays insteaad of Thursdays. Hoping to lose some weight this week Wish me good luck.

    Some of the recommendations I've seen out there when looking at recommended calorie ranges actually suggested having some days high and others low, as long as the weekly average was at the right range for loss. The idea is that it would keep the body guessing rather than getting used to one level and getting more efficient using that.

As to the ankle, you might want to look up things like chair exercises. Having an alternative if one part of us isn't up to the activity so we can swap makes more sense than giving up completely. Obviously, at the time you were very frustrated - but you can't undo last night. You can only plan for that future night when something similar might happen so you have a better result.

Just A Note

Just writing to tell you today I had about 13 veggies and fruits. I added green peppers, mushrooms, and carrots to my Veggie Macaroni dish, plus we added onion to our coleslaw. So I am good also only need 1 more glass of water. Exercise all done.
