Had a good day today. Kept within calorie range and we did a remake of a chicken enchilada recipe that was over 1000 grams of salt in and almost 900 calories. We brought it down to 366 calories by omitting the whipping cream called for and some of the cheese. We used enchilada sauce instead. back was hurting tonight and I am so tired i can't stay awake to do strength training.

Back Was Sore Tonight

Back was acting up tonight again. Got all my walking in today. No running cause the top of my foot started hurting and so did my leg; maybe Friday if it doesn't rain again. I am sick of this constant rain. I found out it would cost me more if I got rid of the cable than if i kept it. Then my phone and internet would go up more. So I am stuck; they were able to take some off of the bill. Where's a job when you need one?

Had a great exercise day yesterday. I ran for 5 minutes in spurts.Got 30 minutes walking in around Super Walmart today. Do something else later maybe my line dance video again. Wish Walmart would put nutrition information on the back of their sandwiches. Couldn't find it online; I had to figure it out myself based on the stuff they put in it.

Working Through The pain

Back is sore today again. i was going to walk but it looks like it might rain again so i will probably work out in the house. First i have to go on the back massager again. maybe tomorrow I can get outside again. Good day for taking a nap too.

    rainy weather is great for a nap! Honestly, my most tempting time to crawl back in bed is after an intense workout follow by a shower. It takes great discipline to walk away from the bed and get dressed for work.

    Sounds like a good plan B. I've aggravated a chronic foot problem, was going to walk this afternoon, but will put in time on stationary bike instead. The nap idea sounds like a winner. I'll bet you don't want to hear again what a lovely day it is here in Florida!

Back was sore today but walked with my daughter for 70 minutes today and did my strength training to make it stronger. Going to try to run tomorrow.

find foods that work with your chemistry. i created this meal on my own. i can't seem to loose weight if i eat any grain products. so one day i experimented.

i make this mixture for breakfast , lunch and dinner. i have lost 32 pounds in 23 weeks. i cook

4 large portabella mushrooms sliced, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, 4 large onions sliced, 2 large green peppers, 3 cans green beans, 1 can rutabaga and 5 sliced chicken sausages.

it makes enough for at least 4 days, three meals a day. total cost is 12 dollars. i buy the mushrooms and chicken at sams club. sounds crazy but it taste good and most importantly it's working. i'm not hungry . if i feel the urge to cheat i go get a fork full of my mixture. i chew very slowly as to enjoy my meal.

i have added a small banana and grapes for my snacks and to be a fix for my sweet tooth.

you can add other foods into your menu. just know what works with your body chemistry.

I have gone from 198 to 166 pounds. i can now fit into a size 14 comfortably. i feel so much better. think of carrying a 2 year old around your waist every minute of every day. no i am not done. on the obese chart i have gone from being obese to just plain fat. my goal is to drop another 22 pounds. then i will be happy, healthy and never allow myself to get in this condition again.

one might say eating the same food every day would get boring. not true. when you look in the mirror and can see the difference it's worth
